Having bought so many products to help my arthritis, which haven't, I probably wouldn't have bought this. However, having seen the vast improvement in someone's labrador, yes, that's right. LABRADOR! (It works for animals too, and a human might be persuaded something works, but when you see an animal improve - then you KNOW it works!) So I sent off for it. I've been taking two a day for six days ...... and it is really working! My knee still twinges off and on, but I'm now walking a lot farther than I have for months. I also bought the green lipped muscle gel, and rubbing it in several times a day. Now I just need to sort the pain that's started in my hip .......

Green lipped mussel has long been believed to have joint protecting and anti inflammatory properties. These reside in the glucosamine like molecules and proteins in the mussel rather less in the oil. There are some small scientific studies to support this. (You can pursue this on the net quite easily) This is my second batch of these capsules, I stopped taking them for a month and the arthritis in my thumbs worsened, I restarted and the problem diminished. It's not a miracle cure but it certainly helps contain the problem, and they are safe long-term unlike most moderns NSAIDS such as diclofenac. Highly recommended, but watch it if you are allergic to shellfish - I am not so don't have a problem

I have to say, I viewed green lipped muscle extract with skepticism, but I though I would give it a go. Well, I am bowled over! The effect was almost immediate. My knees are much less painful, hence I exercise more, and the problems is getting much easier to manage. I would certainly recommend it for certain conditions (it may work for you, it may not) but the NICE regulations say that there are no known side effects, so it is something I will carry on taking and am very grateful for!

This item arrived on time and in perfectly adequate packaging however, after two months of taking this product, I have noticed no difference whatsoever to my osteo arthritis. Pain and discomfort are still present as before and no noticeable reduction in swelling of my joints. Therefore, I have cancelled my order and will no longer take this product.

I bought Green Lipped Mussels two months ago. I didn’t write the review immediately , waiting for the results.Unfortunately I didn’t notes any positive effect on me. Maybe they work for other people, sadly not for me .The service was great!

Excellent Green Lipped Mussel supplement, has really helped with the arthritis pain in my elbow and upper arms, also in my hands, would highly recommend. In my opinion the purist one on the market, ( no fillers binders etc,) The product came before the due date from PharmEthicals Ltd, so a reliable company.

I started taking these when I was taken off my arthritis tablets due to side effects they do appear to be helping almost as much as the prescription drugs, without nasty side effects. So brilliant I think .
