Great handle scales
I ordered these for the first knife I've ever made. I'm still working on the process, but the scales are just what I needed. The grain is fairly simple and plain-looking, but the wood is durable, shapes well, and takes a very nice finish. Having a spare set of scales was great for my peace-of-mind, too. I'm looking forward to working with these again. The price was great, and you get exactly what you need. Buy with confidence!

Well it is Ironwood
My issue with this is that while it is Ironwood, likely, it is also not at all the grain style they show. The grain in this wood I received is extremely bland and common. As far as looks go I could achieve the same with significantly easier to find woods. Ironwood is still a very durable wood though.

I received 4 scales 2 were flat and usable the other had a slight twist and the other was even more twisted
