we have a diabetic boy cat and a non diabetic lady cat. they both adore these. apparently it's slow realising carbs. smaller than usual biscuits, but smell OK too

My cat has been recently diagnosed to be diabetic, and we are still in the early days of trying to stabilise him. Initially he liked the wet version of this, but after 10 days he decided that he wasn’t quite so sure. His eating became erratic, which made it difficult with his insulin and as a result he had two hypos in a week. Switched to this dry and so far he seems quite happy with it. It is also much easier to control and see exactly how much he is eating. I have bought a cat kibble container to keep the food fresh as I don’t think the self sealing arrangement on the bag is very good. Reasonable value, looks and smells good.

I don’t know if this cat food is good as sadly my cat had to be put to sleep before I could try her with the food. In a market where not many people are producing food suitable for diabetic cats I think this is one of the cheaper foods.One word of caution if you are buying food for your newly diagnosed diabetic cat, is that neither Amazon or the retailer will accept returns of any cat food even if it is unopened, so you might not want to buy too much to start with.
