A good replacement for the sun
Well, I’m definitely prone to needing to supplement my vit D and these are wonderful. Because I consistently run low in vitamin D —as I work in radiology and often work in dark cave like rooms— I decided that taking daily higher doses would benefit me. I love the 10000iu dose and this brand is very clean and a good source! My doctor use to prescribe me 50000iu a week for several months at a time — so when I start to get super low — I just take this 5x’s a week for a month or two then back off to one a week. This is great for people who are terrible at taking daily vitamins as the dose is higher. Since vit D is fat soluble it’s difficult to ever take too much. These are also very small and in a veggie capsule so they are very easy to swallow! You don’t have to live like a vampire— take your vit D!

I got these pills because I am Vitamin D deficient (numbers usually under 10 ng/mL with lab work). I was taking D3 1000 IU and over time I got my numbers to 14 ng/mL (still deficient). I started taking these and literally overnight (I got lab work done two days in a row) and it went from 14 ng/mL to 20ng/mL. I have to get a lot of blood work done and I will be getting more done in 2 weeks. I would not be surprised if my numbers are in the normal range at that point. I highly recommend for anyone struggling with their levels to take this vitamin. Make sure to run it by your health care provider if you have any questions or concerns but for me this has been life changing! The pill is easy to swallow, I take it once a day and it does help keep my mood up too! 10/10 would recommend!!! No smell, pills have no stickiness, and Sleep quality is great.
