Worth the wait
I ordered this stuff at the end of April and received it today due to the slow shipping because of the Covid-19 (no one's fault). I wanted to dye a quilt smoke grey and I could not find any Rit Dye at all. I ordered this stuff and was anxious to try it. I followed the directions and was so happy to see that the once ugly peach-colored quilt had turned into this beautiful shade of grey. I would buy Dylon again and would recommend it.

RUINED the entire load
I was attempting to dye an already grey cotton duvet that had become slightly faded overtime. I just wanted to brighten the color. It did nothing except make a super saturated dark splotch in one 6 inch area. The entire thing is now ruined. I followed the instructions with the water levels but I'm only now seeing reviews where people suggest a long soak in the washer first. That is not in the instructions. Even if I got a refund for the cost of the product, it's ruined an Egyptian cotton duvet king duvet.

“Pod” doesn’t mean a laundry soap type of pod!!
A little pricey but well worth the extra cost for the ease of use. I ordered it because I wanted to fix an oopsy and get some bleach stains out of a pair of my husband’s shorts and sounded like it would be the easiest product to use. It dyed the rust colored spots a light gray. So the spots weren’t so obvious once the shorts were dyed but they didn’t dye the same color as the rest of his shorts.ALSO, in case you are incredibly confused as well, they have included a picture above (that is unfortunately not on the product itself) that shows that “pod” is term they use for the whole container you receive. I stupidly opened it thinking that there would be a laundry soap type pod in the container and was extremely confused when it was just powered dye. Thankfully my husband was home and able to figure out what “pod” actually meant.

Mixed results ...
This is 3rd time that I've used a Dylon pod.Yet this is the 1st time I got mixed results. The past two times I used primary colors:Black and Yellow (marigold). Both perfect. But color separation occurs with this gray.I got spots/streaks of red, blue and gray.Result looks more like a "tie dye" effect. For my cotton tee that actually looks cool. However for my denim jacket, not so much. Both were originally white before the dying.I washed them with warm/warm wash cycle.(Same as I had when using black or yellow.)Gray color separates yielding mixed result.
