Trangia Aluminum Kettle

Love this Trangia aluminum water kettle. It’s a nice size for two people to boil some water for tea, coffee or instant noodles. It has a nice tight fitting lid that remains cool if you grab it by the knob. It also has a nice stay cool handle, as it can be locked in the up position when boiling water, or in the down position if traveling or not in use. It’s quite light weight, and since it’s shape is quite squat and wide, you can put something inside it when not in use. The aluminum doesn’t seem to stain or get too discolored on the inside or outside. Soot seems to be easily wiped off. All in all a nicely well thought out design and build. We have used it nearly weekly since getting it and it is holding up very nicely. I do believe that there is a large size, but for us this is the perfect size for two people. And it is still actually Made in Sweden.

I have been very happy with this kettle. It is quality made, the right capacity for my needs and pours nicely.

I bought this item, exclusively for my Trangia 27 cook set because I thought it came with the stove when I ordered here in Amazon. It's very nice when you have a kettle with your set and you're having tea coffee or hot apple cider in the middle of the afternoon in your local park after you ate lunch. it's just the right size for a kettle and it will contain 2 standard sized cups volume wise. It also fits nicely with the Trangia 27 and it's invaluable when you're camping or just need a hot beverage in the middle of the trail. Very light too I might add and Made in Sweden just like the cook set. I highly recommend this kettle for it's simple design and function.

I love this little tea pot! It holds about 2 cups of water and heats to boiling quickly, plus it fits perfectly in my Stanley lunchbox/cook set. I definitely recommend it as a lightweight, compact tea pot.

As a lightweight backcountry kettle, this is pretty good. One of these kettles will last for years, even under moderate abuse. The price is good for the materials used, but beware, the handle cover will melt, even if using a Trangia spirit burner when a breeze shifts the flame towards the handle side. If you don’t have qualms about aluminum cookware, this is an excellent choice for a kettle.

Bought this for camping. Works great to heat up enough water for the wife and I to have coffee or cocoa, small enough it doesn't take up much room

Kettle is high quality. No leaks or problems pouring. Heats water up efficiently and makes pouring out water easy. After decades of using an MSR steel pot to heat water in for camping/backpacking, this kettle feels like a dream. I’ll still have my titanium pot for serious backpacking, but for car camping and family backpacking, this is great. Also adds a touch of class to the endeavor.

Ottimo bollitore di piccole dimensioni, pratico per chi fa attività nella natura ed ha bisogno di farsi un pasto caldo o una bevanda calda. Le sue ridotte dimensioni lo rendono molto comodo in quanto occupa anche poco spazio nello zaino.

High quality kettle with no nasty cheap smells upon opening. Tested on a camping stove and it heats up very quickly and shoots steam out the tip when ready it doesn’t really squeal which could’ve been nice, however this is acceptable In my opinion considering the compactness of the unit. It is very light, perfect for camping as you can get a small stove inside of it along with other necessities. I initially was attracted to this kettle specifically for its ability to be used on an open fire if needs be, I have not tested this yet but it does have a removable rubber grip on the handle which frother confirms this can be used for that purpose if needs be. Overall very good product for the price, I would have liked to pay around 15£ for this but it was not far off and is generally better than any other competitors when you consider the quality/price ratio.
