Though a bit pricey.... U can tell the quality of the product just looking at it. And super fast delivery and the packaging was great a well..worth the money

Shipping was fast from Sri Lanka and reached me in 3 days. The cinnamon itself has a strong aroma, but wouldn't recommend for cooking as the taste isn't very strong, so will not add the spicy flavour the thick cinnamon cassia usually does. All my life I've always associated cinnamon with the level of spiciness when chewed raw or used in cooking. Plus with the small levels I usually use just for the spiciness, the cassia variety won't be enough for toxicity, which is the selling point behind the zeylanicum variety which contains very low levels of coumarin. Would recommend for breakfast porridges, desserts and for flavouring, plus it's very easy to grind since the quills are not as hard as the standard cinnamon sticks.

This is way more than I usually pay for cinnamon but, with so much 'false' (cassia) cinnamon now on the market and cinnamon being a key part of my diet, I wanted the best. And this really is the best - it's excellent. Actually, given the size of the container, this cinnamon isn't as high a price as it seems. I use a third of a stick in each smoothie - and I love the taste of cinnamon - but a third is plenty. (For many people it would probably be too much and a quarter would be sufficient.) So this pack is going to last a long time. If you use ground cinnamon, just pop a quarter or a third of a stick into a spice or coffee grinder, grind it up, and there you have it: some of the freshest, smoothest-tasting cinnamon you'll ever have in your life. My morning green drink powder isn't the most pleasant-tasting stuff in the world, but with some honey, some vanilla extract, some nutmeg and this cinnamon, it's delicious. I'm never going back to 'your average' cinnamon again. This, from now on, is going to be one of my life's treats.

Highly recommend these. Love the scent when first removing foil top. I use them for making cinnamon, tumeric and ginger tea to ease arthritic pain. See my review on the tumeric powder for the recipe. Or basically Grate roots snap cinnamon boil and simmer and drink 4 times daily. Excellent for colds too. Add honey and lemon when mix is in a mug.

These were expensive and I expected good quality. They are very poor, no scent or flavour. I have binned mine.

Well, is really good, although I was looking for sweet Ceylon stick, to mix with my warm lemon juice in the morning, notwithstanding this is also good. I have nothing against it only is not sweet. The most important thing is, it is real Ceylon cinnamon stick.

I have been using a lot of cinnamon for many years and in my opinion, this one is the best so far.

Saw this cinnamon on a show high lighting Shrilanka and they grow the best cinnamon in the world. This cinnamon is not like anything you have ever had. Pure cinnamon it smells sweet and spicy. I cooked an Indian meal that I would have just used regular not sure where it came from cinnamon. With Pure Ceylon cinnamon this dish was an outstanding meal the flavours it imparted on this curry were amazing. Will be ordering it for ever now. It is also good to not the these cinnamon farms in Shrilanka are sustainable, it does not kill the plant and is also organic as insects detest cinnamon. Love love it.

I was surprised at how quickly my Ceylon cinnamon arrived. Very well packaged also. I ordered Ceylon cinnamon after doing a little research on the two different kinds of cinnamon and finding out that the Ceylon type is far superior and safer, especially if you consume it on a daily basis like I do. I grind mine up in a little coffee/spice grinder and eat about 2 tsp/daily strictly for nutrition (with applesauce). I love knowing that these wonderfully fresh cinnamon sticks were grown in Sri Lanka, packed in a airtight container, and delivered to my doorstep in Connecticut, halfway around the world, in a matter of days. I got this as a present for a family member as she struggled to find good quality cinnamon sticks. This was perfect! Quality and value is exactly what she was looking for and she loved this! 10/10 would recommend
