This is a very small product that is well packaged and does the job. It comes with its own case, cable and velcro pads. It’s super light and portable. The brightness of the LED’s is almost blinding at close range, thats something you need to be careful of. Once it’s in the air (attached to a drone) its highly visible - exactly what I needed. It’s simple to operate and has a great battery life, not had to recharge yet after a few hours of use. During my first use I lost GPS signal of ky drone and crashed a few hundred meters from where it took off. The strobe fell off due to the velcro pads failing. The strobe however took a tumble onto concrete and into someones garden. When the sun went down a few hours later I re-visited the site where I crashed and found it almost immediately as it was still flashing, working perfectly with no damage. Really impressive. The only downside is the velcro thats provided. I don’t think it’s strong enough to reliably hold it onto a drone. Strong glue has instead did the trick. Worth the money - could make finding a lost drone a lot easier if this strobe is securley attached.

The light attaches using supplied Velcro system, and is more stable than i thought. it has a built in battery which can be charged via computer or usb powerpack using the supplied usb c cable. over all this is a great piece of kit and i would recommend to anyone flying or planning to fly their drone in low light or night time.

First impressions are very positive. I bought this for my DJI mini 2se. So far just flown with a temporary mount using elastic band to secure to skids.(pic3). Very impressed with brightness, especially the strobe settings. LEDs are 1red. 1green. 3white. Just changed to mounted underneath using a pair of the velcro dots supplied. As others have remarked they don't inspire confidence and I was worried they would not hold out on a windy day when the drone is being buffeted by the wind, so have now attached a safety lanyard made of button thread and threaded through the outer heat shrink cover. Value for money as others charging more than Amazon. Can see the red/green strobe flash at 200m against a cloudy grey sky at midday. The white 3 led strobe even easier. At dusk still detected either at 300m. Helps you locate the drone quicker after looking down at the screen. Its made to be very compact, easy to operate and I don't mind about it not being waterproof as my drone isn't either ! UPDATE flown a few flights since using the velcro dot mounting. Better all around VLOS visibility as LEDs pointing down. With 3 white strobes and flying h an hour before sunset I could see it when 100m alt and 500m distance. Easier to see when flying away than towards you due to tilt of drone - especially in sport mode. Velcro held up for 25min flight but still plan on keeping lanyard on.

Would be 5 stars but the velcro that comes with this product is trash, it just hangs the light on the drone making it feel its about to fall off at any second and that's only on the first use. The more you use it the more likely it will. Fall off. I recommend hot glue. The product itself is great it can be seen for miles from many friends when I flew at night could see it for miles and the battery is good. There's many flashing options also which is nice.

These HeiyRC drone strobes are awesome! Super bright — you can spot your drone from a ways away, even in low light. I stuck them on easily, and they don’t add much weight at all. The battery life’s surprisingly good too — I’ve had a few long evening flights and they’ve kept going strong. They’ve got a few different light modes (flash, steady, etc.), which makes them handy not just for visibility but also for cool-looking night shots. If you fly drones after sunset, these are a must-have. Great value and solid quality for the price!

This is absolutely brilliant, it’s a must for all drone pilots , it allows you more visibility when flying ,at night and during daylight hours. You can set it to different colours. Definitely recommend it , I’ve purchased two now.

A wonderful little gadget which I attach to the bottom of DJI NEO batteries using detachable very sticky double sided cushioned tape. I set the light to 'always-on White' which aids flying the craft in FPV mode inside the house. The light is sufficient to stop the craft from madly accelerating in dark areas, when using the DJI RC Motion 3 Controller. Additionally the light can be set to flashing and has white, green and red selections. It is rechargeable using a (supplied) USB-A to USB-C cable.

Incredibly bright! Wish they were waterproof, but I knew when buying they weren't. Very happy

Richtig hell, drei Farben als Blink- Blitz- oder Dauerlicht. Ich nutze sie nicht nur in der Dämmerung an einer Drohne und kann sie dadurch sofort orten. Außerdem ist sie auch für andere sichtbar und nicht „heimlich“ unterwegs.
