I've read you should use "lighter" food when restarting feeding after Winter but can't seem to find any, is this food suitable for Spring feeding?

This food is perfect to use at anytime during the year, i have used it in the winter during mild spells, the fish love it and look healthier than ever and the water quality is not affected in anyway.

What will be the best before or use by date?

I've used this for years. Good stuff and fish love it. The pack I bought 3 or 4 months ago is OK until January 2023. Because they are dried fish flakes, they last a very long time - unless you have pigs disguised as fish (like mine) who gobble it up at a great rate!

Can these flakes also be used for tropical fresh water fish?

These flakes are not suitable for tropical fish as the protein content is much lower than tropical flake
