This Little Box Turns Beef and Onions Into Cozy Dinner Magic
Gasp! This unassuming little brown box is basically a shortcut to a giant plate of Japanese comfort food. I made it with thinly sliced beef and lots of onions, let everything simmer together, then melted the hayashi mix into the broth until it became that thick, glossy, deep-brown gravy that practically begs for a mountain of rice. Then comes my favorite part: rice on the bottom, beef and onion hayashi cascading over it, and a soft two-egg omelet tucked on top. The sauce is rich, savory, gently sweet, and ridiculously cozy, while the egg turns the whole bowl into fluffy little comfort-food heaven. One bite and my kitchen has mentally packed its bags for Harajuku. Tiny box, enormous cozy-food energy.

Mi novia ama la comida japonesa y quería probar una receta de spaghetti hayashi que vio en internet, por lo cual decidí probar este producto. Es un sabor totalmente distinto al curry de esta marca (que igual es delicioso y compro con frecuencia); es un demi-glace con intenso umami y sabor a res. Medio paquete (vienen 2 bloques) rinden lo suficiente para medio kilo de carne y ya preparado son fácil 6 a 8 porciones. Comimos muy rico casi toda la semana. Recomendado.
