Great tool for the price
This is the best mechanical press tool that I've found. Some of the others have a J hook that needs to wrap around the pipe and fitting which can be to tight with limited space. This took has jaws identical to powered pro press tools so you can get it where you need. I had no problems making crimps on copper and stainless PEX caps. I would highly recommend this tool and for a few extra bucks you might as well cover your bases with both options of material. The final presses on copper take some force but be aware that when doing the stainless on PEX you don't need to use the same pressure. Make sure you stop a little before so you don't over crimp a fitting. Otherwise a great tool and easy to use. Common sense and some maneuvering and this is the perfect press tool for occasional use. Of course it won't replace a powered press tool for daily use.

Solid tool for the money, works on all fittings
This review is to provide an experience that is counter to some of what I read before buying the product. I almost did not purchase this based on those reviews. In my experience: * This tool works on all of the fittings I tried, including T-fittings. (Unlike previous reviewers, I experienced no difficulty with T-fittings.) * It is easy to use. The instructions are not great, but the whole thing was fairly intuitive. * It is fatiguing after a short while. You may not want to take on a large project with a manual press. * It is not a perfect replacement for the much more expensive electric versions of this tool. It does not fit into tight spaces as well, it takes more setup, and it is considerably slower. In short, press fittings are game changing. This tool is a relatively affordable way to tackle small jobs using press fittings.

Customer service is as good as the tool!
This is it, the reveiw i have been litteraly working for. My company only has 2 press guns and the other part time plumber isnt quite fond of shareing. 2 years ago i got the GC1 but its limited to certain areas it can press. Fastfoward late 2022, im on a big job, lots of tite space plumbing to be done. I find this beauty also by IBOSAD and i get excited as i love the build quality of the tools. Not only do the jaws preform better then the latch head, but this kit has the dyes for the viega pureflow! For me i can litteraly do everything now in press AND pex. As i show in my pictures it has little problems working in tight or restricted spaces. However after letting a co worker use it and him pumping it as hard as he could repeatedly despite my instructions, it blew a seal. I measaged IBOSAD for help and without question they are sending a new pump body! Truly on par with ridgid but for 5% of the price and no hasle. I cant recomend this enough, as not to metion but the included pipe cutters are made from aluminium. Not plastic like some of the pro brand stuff i have. The pex cutters cut like a hot knife through butter and the copper cutter is actually my faveroite for regular cutting. Overall this HT1950 knocks it clean out of the park. One of the best purchaces ive made to date, seriously, get one.

Great Value
Worked perfectly! Pressed 3/4" copper fittings and brass valves. Required just a little bit of forearm strength since it's 3/4" but nothing to complain about. Tool is built well and came with a few accessories and a nicely built case too. You can purchase this with confidence it performs well.

Room for the crimping head needs to be taken in consideration.
Started using this crimper right away, works great no leaks. You have to think ahead for your layout, crimping head needs a lot of room to crimp fittings.

Good tool. Pays for itself.
Used it 3 times in several months and it more than paid for itself. Made well, easy to use, and it’s able to get into tight spaces. Very happy with this tool.

Good tool for the money
I thought this did a good job…4 couplers so x8 presses - no leaks. It’s a little heavy but not bad and because it rotates 360* I was able to get into pretty tight spaces. Make sure to use the correct die and that they are seated before pressing the fitting. As the tension increases I found smaller pumps helped me get more leverage to maximize the compression. For an occasional use tool, I highly recommend it.

IBOSAD Copper Tube Fittings Hydraulic & Pex Pipe Crimping Tool. Worth the money for the DIY crowd.
Worth every penny for home D.I.Y. crowd. This is not made for the professionals unless you keep it on your work truck as a back-up when your battery tool fails to complete a hard press. It takes about 40 to 42 pumps to press each 3/4 inch copper or brass pipe connection, (this may not be your case if the tool has the quick pump upgrade). The first 30 pumps give very little resistance, it's the last 10 to 15 pumps where your arms begin to work hard. The last two pumps are the most important. Watch to make sure the press tool jaw ends touch each other completely. Once the jaws touch each other completely, don't keep pumping past the jaws touching each other or you'll either blow a seal and get covered in hydraulic fluid or bend the jaws. Then it's up to the warranty department to send you parts on their dime or yours and then you'll have to wait on shipping. Which ever tool you buy, make sure it's got the thin jaws for 90% of jobs. They can reach the press fittings that the thick jaws can't touch. Though it would be nice to have both size jaws, however, that raises the cost to almost double for a head that you only want 10% of the time.
