Durable sandbag but tends to leak some sand through the zipper
The shooting rest is mounted to a 24x30 inch sheet of 3/4" plywood, the side of the plywood toward the bench is painted with a rubberized anti-skid paint. These sandbags were placed on top of the plywood to restrain the shooting rest and have performed quite well. Very sturdy weight bag
Have a Caldwell "lead Slead" . I use two of these weight bags to stabilize it. In my case I filled them with stone dust that I first put into a zip lock plastic bags to prevent any leaking etc then placed those into the Caldwell bags. lead shot was just far too expensive $$ vs stone dust etc. Worked great !
