This has helped soooo much. The only symptoms I had is the smell. It was like a gone off tuna. Ive had it for months.. doctors were useless. Ive brought 3 wks supply. If it comes bk though after im done with the 3 wks supply ill update. Im on wk 2 atm :)

I have a particularly tempestuous lady garden. Even more so since having the coil fitted. Any slight change and shes off giving me hassle. I'd noticed after certain horizontal activities or using certain shower products, laundry detergent etc, I would feel really uncomfortable down there. I'm guessing you're also here because you're an adult female, with garden issues, so I won't spare you the details. It was the stinging sensation that seemed to haunt me all day and night that did it for me. It was on and off for months and my GP tested me for urine infection and the results came back clean. She didn't even mention BV and looking back im unsure as to why that was. It was purely through my own initiative I found that the likliest cause of my troubles was BV. I would notice a particular smell.. I want to say fishy but it was as close to fishy could be but without actually being "fish like" and it would get worse around /after shark week.. Also there was a discharge which was very watery and clear in colour, again with that fishy but not quite fishy smell that at one point, I was sure others could smell too, it was that strong. Thanks to the powers of Google, I decided that I had BV and that I needed to get treated. I went for this product purely because of the price compared to other named brands. I was a little worried because people said it stung a little after insertion, but even my moody little lady took it well. There was no stinging and apart from the odd bit of "product leakage" after a few hours the whole thing wasn't as traumatic as I had imagined. I used the first on Monday evening, its now Wednesday evening and having just used my 3rd pessary I felt I should reflect a little. So after day 1 I noticed NO MORE funky smell. Like, at all! Over the course of Today, which was following use of 2 pessaries, I had a little bit of discomfort down there at work but it was brief and probably just a reminder to keep at it because I feel like these can trick you into thinking its gone after day 1 when in fact you do need to use all 7 even if the symptoms disappear. So, I will stick with it. But the main thing to take away from this is that for me, the smell has almost gone completely, the stinging sensation has gone down from 70% of the day to 20% of the day. Tomorrow I'm expecting to see that decrease further, but as I say I will keep at it. Overall I'm pleased so far. I guess I can update in around 7 days, which will be 3 days post treatment and let you know how things are. I'm laying awake at midnight to write this because it's raining cats and dogs and my cat hasn't yet come home and I'm worried about her. I felt this was relevant as it is also a pussy problem. Even if it isn't quite the same as this one. Goodnight all

Great and easy

Having your body's pH balance get disrupted is an incredibly frustrating experience, but these Balance Activ BV Pessaries sorted everything out exactly as promised.The clinical reality is great. The formula relies on lactic acid and glycogen to quickly lower your vaginal pH back to its normal, slightly acidic baseline, which effectively kills off the unwanted odour and discomfort without needing a trip to the GP for prescription antibiotics. It genuinely starts working after the very first night.The user experience, however, requires a bit of realistic planning. These are designed to be used once a day for 7 days strictly at bedtime. Do not attempt to use one of these and then immediately go out for a jog or a walk around the supermarket. Gravity will win, and the melted product will ruin your day. You absolutely must wear a panty liner to bed because the morning-after leakage is a regular part of the process.

Just finished using these. I have been suffering from what I believe is BV for a couple of weeks. I had itchiness, coupled with a bad smell and light discharge. I am not keen on the plastic tubes of liquid that you squirt inside. I noticed these pessaries and they looked just the job. On arrival, I found the box easy to open, but packet of pessaries themselves were quite difficult to get into. The foil packaging is quite annoying to peel apart to release the pessary. I found the pessaries themselves very easy and mess free to insert at night. Sounds weird but they are quite small, smooth, and are the texture of a bar of soap. They seemed a lot less messy than the tubes you can buy, however I did feel a warming sensation as they dissolved through the night. Nothing uncomfortable for me. I do wish they came with applicators (like canestan) but I’m aware this would probably be seen as a waste of plastic. I just washed my hands and used my fingertips to insert it as high as it would go. 7 days on…while it stopped the smell and discharge a bit, and I didn’t suffer any irritation when using like some others, I am still suffering from a bit of a smell and itchiness. So I am going to go to the doctor and wouldn’t rate these as that effective. Two stars off for lack of effectiveness and difficult to open packaging.

I've suffered with what I think has been BV since as long as I can remember, I've never been to the Dr's about it I've always just got on with it. After research I tried these. Easy to use. After the 1st one, the next day I had no smell, and no discharge. I was honestly amazed! I haven't had dry knickers for absolute years (maybe 10-13 years)I normally go through knickers a few times a day or I wear a liner ALL the time, as for smell I've always thought I've had a smell alon side the discharge. On the 2nd day, again same as the 1st. Amazing! But on the 3rd and 4th day I'm 99% sure I now have a pretty nasty case of thrush (I've had thrush before so I remember the symptoms well), I'm really itchy, swollen, and the discharge is back along with a smell. I decided to stop taking them after the 4th day, I'm gonna wait till it clears up, and in a few weeks I'll just take 2 days worth again, as the 2 days worked amazingly. So for me, I wouldn't take 7 days worth, I will buy another pack and just take the odd 1 or 2, rather than a full course, whenever I'm a bit off again. So yeah, amazing stuff they do work. Maybe I just got thrush coincidentally whilst taking this course, it is possible. But I'm not chancing it again in future, just 1 or 2 will do me fine. P.S the pill is shaped like a bullet and it looks like its a soap kind of texture. The packaging the pill was in was difficult to remove without the pill flying out of it lol, so be careful on opening! Good luck those trying, I hope you get results and feel amazing!
