Do the lanyard holes stick out a little bit, to help keep the string from scrathing the phone, or are the flat against the side of the phone?

Hello! The center of the lanyard hole is slightly elevated so any lanyards are not pressed against the device.

Will galaxy s22 get this case soon!? I love this

I don't know abt the S22 or the S22 plus. I have the S22 Ultra. I guess just keep checking

why 6 dollars more than s23? not much difference

S23 Ultra has 2 more cameras. Totally different design for the case
