Easy to install. Works great
I love when a product is as advertised. This Maglock does exactly what it says. It is easy to install and has a nice strong hold. I’ve been using this particular lock in a commercial environment for well over a year and it is working flawlessly. Would recommend.

Didn't last 3 months
Review after 3 months of operation. Product was installed on farmhouse door with ubiquiti system. Initially believed fully operational and appreciated the hardware included in kit. I appreciated the solid clunk of a strong magnetic lock on a door I have had issues with in windy environment. But only after 3 months of operation I arrived on-site believing my door secure, and taking confidence in the red led light on my security cameras only to find out that the electric magnetic is likely fried. This was inside not exposed to weather but was exposed to regular summer heat.

I would look elsewhere before repurchasing.
Seems well made, sturdy, functional. Instructions to install and components (screws, mounting materials) are a bit lackluster.

Terrible maglock
Even with the lock plate right up against the magnet I can pull the plate off by hand with very little effort. Terrible magnetic lock of 1200 lbs when it only takes maybe 4 to get it to release.
