I thought "Yep this is great, no need to wind the filament by hand, worth the money just for thatBut I'm stupidWhen you take the reel out of it's plastic wrapping the filament is attached at each end to the reel. You only need to detach the filament from the outdide end just before fittingI didn't, I unclipped the filament, and then got distractedWhen I came back the filament had unwound itself, leaving me with a birdsnest that needed to be completely unwould and rewound under tensionUser errorDon't be an idiot like me, only unclip the filament when you are ready to fit the spoolOh, BTW, it works very well.

Takes a while to arrive but cheap and it works.

Nothing is more annoying than trimming the grass and you realise that the wire has run out. It has happened to me on quite a few occasions. So imagine my delight when I saw this three pack item. Firstly, it fits straight into my existing appliance, which is a godsend. Secondly, I don't have to be caught short again, as I have backup.These threads do their job admirably and now I have more of them. Fantastic!

Good product and fast delivery

Excellent product! Don’t know why I’ve been hand winding strimmer line onto my strimmers spool all this time when these preloaded spools are such a reasonable price and my strimmer has worked much more efficiently with the properly wound line in it. It’s definitely going to be the way forward from now on, not worth the hassle of messing around winding spools only for the line to spring out just as you are about to put the spool in the strimmer, no such problem when you buy the Preloaded spools.

Works well and lasts long.This is my 2nd batch. first batch I purchased in May 2016 and paid £11.40 which works out to £3.80 each.2nd Batch I purchased in July and paid £18.54.I hadn't realised when I went for buy it again that it had gone up by £7.00. So really I got done, as this cost me £6.18 each, which is very expensive. A single one on Amazon costs £3.99 each.I will watch out before purchasing at this price

Reasonably easy to use. I would rate higher but find they tend to snag and need manual adjustment sometimes, at least in my machine. Also they don't last all that long before needing replacement, but at least this 3 pack is priced not too high.

Possédant un coupe bordure sans fil Black et Decker STC1820, d'habitude je rechargeais ma bobine en enroulant du fil de section adéquate mais là ma bobine étant vieille et commençant à être abîmée j'ai souhaité en racheter une quand finalement j'ai opté pour ce lot de 3.Testée en pratique 1 jour après la livraison suite à la tonte de la pelouse … et pas de soucis avec les bobines lors de la mise en place, ni avec la qualité du fil. En effet installation classique et rapide, le fil avance bien automatiquement mais sans excès, ni casse à répétition pourtant j'ai beaucoup de bordures.... C'est donc validé pour ma part ;-)

Die drei Spulen haben jeweils 10m Faden drauf. Unser Black und Decker hat das AFS System, das heißt der Faden verlängert sich automatisch. Dafür sind die Spulen genau passend. Man muss lediglich die Abdeckkappe abnehmen, die neue Spule einsetzen, Kappe wieder drauf und fertig. Die Langlebigkeit des Fadens hängt natürlich davon ab wo man den Trimmer einsetzt. Ich brauchte ihn viel an Steinkanten, Bordstein etc. Da nutzt er natürlich schneller ab als wenn nur weiches Material geschnitten wird. Trotzdem bin ich mit einer Spule, also 10m, in zwei Einfahrten, dann der Straße vor dem Haus und den Wegen im Hof, ausgekommen. Und da hat der Faden quasi nur auf Beton gearbeitet. Und das auch mehrmals. Also für meine Ansprüche an so ein Produkt und was es aushalten muss, reicht es völlig, und der Preis geht für mich absolut klar.
