Replacement Keys for MacBook Air 13.6 M2 A2681 2022 Year

They arrived quickly and fit perfectly, and were easy to install with the use of an instructional video on YouTube. For reference, I have a MacBook in space grey and I colour midnight for the key caps. They are a perfect match, and I even included a photo of my finished keyboard with the new key caps mixed in with the old ones and a reference photo for which key caps I replaced. I genuinely can’t tell the difference, aside from the fact that the new keycaps have fewer fingerprints on them. The pry bar that it comes with is high-quality and sturdy, and it even has a little notch in it for lifting edges. Front to back, these key caps look identical to the MacBook ones. They have the same thickness and colour on both side sides. Typing on them feels identical to typing on the original MacBook keycaps. One thing to be aware of is that a few of the keys, such as the return, shift, and lock have a little thin metal bar under them. These are the key caps only, and do not include that metal bar. If you don’t have the metal bar that goes under those keys, you will need to order those separately. Thankfully, I had all of mine and only needed to replace the key caps that had broken clips. I honestly never thought that I would need replacement key caps as I am extremely careful with all of my possessions, especially my nice MacBook. However, I had an unfortunate incident using some electronics cleaner putty that got stuck under some keys and I had to manually remove the key caps and clean it off. Because this was my first time doing something like this, even though I followed a YouTube video, I managed to break some of the clips on my key caps and they couldn’t be replaced once I was finished cleaning. Even if you, like me, are someone who takes excellent care of their possessions, I highly recommend having a spare set of key caps just in case. You literally never know what could happen, and the cost of buying these direct from Apple or even just individually is insane. While I am usually hesitant to buy third-party accessories, replacements, or pieces for my electronics, (especially the expensive ones) this was thankfully a best case scenario in terms of both price and quality and I’m glad I got them. I actually ended up deciding to replace all of the key caps so they can all look brand-new and I’ll be spending my afternoon carefully doing that. I’m just relieved to know that I have some spares in case I break some again!

The finish and fit of the keycaps are perfect. They look exactly like OEM and the crowbar it comes with works well. Some keys are slightly different, such as teh mute button having a slash through it. Other than that, font, size, sound, and backlighting are exactly like OEM. Worth it in my opinion.

Super happy with this—Apple told me that they'd get me a replacement tab key for free since I was an AppleCare+ customer, but they never emailed me back. They apparently had to "order" more. How does an Apple store have no keycaps? No idea. Still haven't heard from them and it's been just about two weeks. Two weeks without a tab key is two weeks too long. But this set came to the rescue. It's pretty much identical to the old key, and works just great. And if I have any other issues with my keyboard, I've got plenty more keys to boot because this comes as a full set. Do note that the package doesn't come with the metal bars used to secure the key to the underlying scissor mechanism, so keep yours handy. 10/10 product—super happy to have been able to order it on Amazon as well.

Ordered a set to replace keys on my MacBook Air M3 24gb, what I received isn't for that specific model. The only difference is the key sizes for the top row, ESC & F1-F12 are too small to use and the tab+tilda keys are incompatible. Other than that, the others worked fine. `

Only wish I would of bought these earlier I spilt some redbull on my keys on my MacBook Air m3 I cleaned it all and in the process took off keys to clean them then when inserting them back on I broke the plastic peices on the keycaps. This product worked great exact same color and a new feel.

I bought this when I broke a Macbook keyboard key when I was trying to clean it. It fits right in with the other keys on my keyboard, so much so that I can't even tell which key was broken to begin with! It comes with all of the keys, so if another one breaks, I have the tools necessary to replace it.

These did not fit my computer (which they should have) and I just missed the return window. Stuck with them I guess.

It's just a flimsy keyboard cover, not actual key caps. The crowbar inclusion was pointless.

replaced the worn out keys on my macbook and they fit perfectly. the print on the keys is clear and hasnt faded even after months of use. they feel just like the original apple keycaps with good key feel and responsiveness. installation was straightforward with no issues. the black color matches my laptop finish perfectly. would order again if i need more replacements.
