An excellent light meter. I have been using it to test both old and new 400 watt metal halide bulbs. Meter has measured values as low as 300 and as high as 14K. Showed several bulbs claiming to be 20K to be only 10K. I highly recommend it. Make certain you read the instructions or you may not get an appropriate reading.

So far so good, works fast and as advertised.

I ordered this through pet solutions and it doesn't work at all. I never even put it in water to get a par reading because it read zero right out of the box and doesn't pick up any light at all. I emailed pet solutions and got no response. Now I have an 80 dollar piece of plastic that gives me a zero whenever I want it........great. I'm not impressed with the product or the company I bought it from. This is the first time I have had a negative experience with amazon, I would not buy from pet solutions again.
