Challenging enough to keep my 11 year old grandson needing to think about the next step. I recommend for anyone who finds thing easy to do.

6 year old needed some help but has loved each build!

Grandson loved it. Kept him busy for hours. Needed a little help but was apropriate for a 12 year old. Car was as described.

Quality: This set has very good build quality, the pieces fit together very nicely, will not come off easily. Instructions: I will say I was pleasantly surprised here, LEGO instructions are the gold standard, and these come very close to that standard, but not there. There were a handful of steps where it was not fully clear what/how was added and some "reverse engineering" had to be done by an adult, but those were the exception. For the most part, instructions were very clear to be followed by an 8yo kid with little to no adult help. Packaging: Don't expect any fancy box, just a white box with pieces in plastic boxes inside. I did not care for that, actually prefers less packaging waste, so it's a positive for me, but some people want/expect fancy colorful packaging for gift purposes, you will not get that with this set. You will have to find another bigger box or place to store the pieces, once opened, these will not go back to the same box.

This has a lot of little pieces and may be overwhelming to some kids. An adult will most likely need to supervise and help guide a younger child. There's a lot of choices of how to create the different robots so it gives kids the opportunity to exercise their imaginations and critical thinking skills. Overall it's a nice product.

This would make a great gift for any builder or anyone who loves to tinker. Some parts of the instructions were a little unclear, the colors illustrated vs the parts itself were confusing but it was easy enough to figure out. The remote and battery pack would make a great addition to any Lego enthusiasts collection without breaking the bank. I think the price is amazing for what you get especially compared to how much Lego would charge for this.

When I order off brand brick building sets, I’m always worried about the quality of the instructions. My kids become frustrated very quickly if the guides don’t have clear step by step images. I was really happy to find 3 detailed instruction manuals. The bricks are also sorted into small packages. This is our first true STEM project. We are excited to have so many build options.

He loved it and has used it for hours. I don't know the details beyond that he love to build and rebuild things.
