Q: Will there ever be a 2 meter / 6 foot version of this?

MANUFACTURER ANSWER: We do not currently have a 2 meter version that supports 240W, but we do have a 2 meter version that supports 100W power delivery and Thunderbolt 4!

Q: Will this transfer data from device to device?

Depends on your devices, but yes it can be used for that.

Q: What is the difference between this cable and the other plugable cable for $25.95? they both seem to support usb4 and thunderbolt4.

I own both Plugable USB cables (Thunderbolt 4 & the 25.95 version). The Thunderbolt 4 cable provides a much higher data transfer rate.

The Thunderbolt cable I am using from the docking station to my notebook to charge the notebook and transfer data has a tag on it. The tag says cable is 1 meter long and has power capacity of 240W. I have never come close to using this much power since the Thunderbolt ports on my docking station are rated at 15W.
