DO NOT HESITATE
3 year old less than 20 lbs (12ish) female chihuahua- rat terrier mix. Vaccinations for first 6 months. Her name is Vivienne. My little doggy had diarrhea. She first began with a little diarrhea coupled with vomiting. I was so worried. I looked up natural treatments for it. First, she wasn't eating but NOT lethargic. She drank water. Her diarrhea was very runny and her throw up was clear with a tinge of very light pink. It wasn't bloody, but had a little red fleck here and there. Could have been from broken capillaries. As I said before, she was not lethargic, but I was worried for numerous reasons. I keep an eye out because as you know, dogs eat weird stuff. Once I caught her licking something in the carpet. Quickly, I looked to see what it was and it was a tiny little screw. There weren't anymore around and I have no idea where she found it. Worried, she could have eaten something like that (foreign body) that might need surgery, I waited. Sad truth, no way I could afford a 1 to $2,000 vet bill, and you know how it happens: we just need to rule out (fill in the blank) so lots of testing is done. So, she had diarrhea for about 5 days and during that time she wasn't really interested in food or her kong. I feed her cooked boiled and shredded chicken breast. She seemed finicky about it one night so I backed off from giving her treats. The only ibes she gets are all natural, minimal ingreduents. The only questionable one is vegetable glycerin. She tends to be allergic, so when sge gets sonething she shouldnt eat, obsessive licking and scratching. She always loves the boiled chicken, but one night she wouldn't eat it. The next night she ate just a little. The next day I smelled it and it didn't seem right. I threw it out and made her fresh. She ate it. I wonder if she got a parasite or salmonella from the chicken. So diarrhea ensues. THEN she's trying to vomit several times in one day. With the diarrhea and vomiting I was up with her on and off most of the day. You cannot leave your dog alone if they're sick. Here's what I did and I think it helped. I gave her little bits of raw honey from our area. Tried to give her plain yogurt but she wasn't having it. Took the honey, but it on my finger and lightly pressed it behind her bottom teeth on the inside. It worked like a charm. She had energy was still drinking water but when she slacked off I'd put water into an eye dropper and squirt several in making sure she was drinking it. Hydration is VERY IMPORTANT, when they have ongoing diarrhea, add vomitting to that, not good. Watching their urination output VERY impotant!important! She STILL has diarrhea. It's been about 5 days. It seemed like forever. I was worried. I came across thus product abd saw the reviews abd rating. At the time it was 4.7 so I thought, sounds good I'll give it a try. I knew at the very least it would help her gut health. I ordered it, spent the extra $2.99 for next day, WORTH EVERY PENNY. It came the next day (promised between 7 AM and 11:30 AM) It arrived at 10 AM. I WAS THRILLED. Began giving her the paste in the syringe. I started with 1 ml and graduated to 2. I think in hindsight I'd begin with 2 ml. I'd say it took almost 2 days until we had a regular poop! I was so happy. Listen, have this stuff on hand just in case. Dogs get diarrhea and they vomit. It's a good way to restore the gut. I did not use the capsules, just the paste. The paste smells fine. Reminds me if bananas. It us a little gritty. Placed it on my finger abd scraped it gently on the back of the bottom teeth where she could lick it off. She licked a bit of residual off my finger too, and she is very picky. All in all, I would have taken her to a vet if thus persisted. I think the most important thing was that even though she had stints of sleeping and resting, she was not lethargic or even acted weak. I always weigh the benefits against the risks. I mean we love our babies right? But look at the whole situation first. I cannot say enough great things about this product! KUDOS! KUDOS! KUDOS! P S. I gave a wee bit to my 16 year old kitty. He kicked it no problem. I felt it couldn't hurt and would help his gut.

Happy fur babies of all ages and species
Used to have to pay almost $100 for this at the vet! Best stuff on the market. Has worked for my cats, dogs, and my puppy. Read the dosage carefully and this should start working within a few days. I kept my puppy on this while he was getting his vaccines bc his stool was loose and then weaned him off. However I don’t think continuing it would have been harmful. I am not a vet so consult yours

Re: shelter kitten. Stick with it for the full 10 days
Read why you should get this for kitten diarrhea: So I adopted a feral kitten from a rescue. She was scared and stressed (understandably) when she came home, so the diarrhea that accompanied her was somewhat expected? Or at least not cause for concern. She had been tested for everything before adoption. She was running around and playing with no other symptoms. She had gone through different courses of antibiotics and antivirals when admitted to the shelter. And 1 month later, kitten was still not having solid poos, despite her getting comfortable in the home. And the smell was so heinous coming out of something so fluffy and little! 🤢 Researched probiotic benefit after courses of antibiotics and other medications rescue/shelter cats may have had before they come home to you, that really impact their gut. Also the impact of stress and transition on kitty gut health, switching to new food than at the shelter, etc. Started Forti Flora and there was no sign of improvement after about 3 weeks of daily use. Did more research. Discovered forti flora only has 1 strain of probiotic. Enter PROVIABLE. PROVIABLE has multiple bacteria strains to help recolonize in your pet’s tummy after being out of whack. And this 10 day pack came with the anti-diarrheal paste to firm up stools from the off. Due to the reviews, I was expecting a miracle in like 2 days which did not happen. I kept up with it, giving her the paste AM and PM for 3 days (IN wet food she didn’t notice it, nor the powder capsules) and the capsules every morning. It’s now day 9 and I just cleaned out a solid poo from the litter box! My house doesn’t smell to high heaven. I just bought the 30 day pack of the capsules to continue this regime until she’s consistent and then will slowly ween her off it or add to her food weekly just for digestive health. So if you’re scared and frustrated with your new kitten’s loose poo, I’d try this before going to the vet. Because frankly, if all the testing has been done before you adopted, when you take your little one to the vet, you know what they’re going to do? Write a script for PROVIABLE for $40 at the office, and say to come back if it doesn’t work for more testing. And you can just do that by buying it here on Amazon and if it still doesn’t work, you can go to your vet and tell them you already tried this. And definitely pick this over forti flora.

Highly recommend to have on hand!!
My small dog had an upset stomach and I got this delivered the next day. This stopped her loose stools immediately, and I think she felt so much better after taking this medicine. This was also recommended to us by the emergency vet on another occasion when she was sick so it clearly is well regarded. Highly recommend having this on hand if your dog eats random things and gets sick every once in a while. It gives me peace of mind that I have something that works for my dog.

Helps to Get Ahead when Your Dog or Cat Suffers from Diarrhea
I do not know about using on a cat but I do have experience using this on my small dog. I try to keep this on hand in case all of a sudden she has an upset stomach. The paste is easy to give and my picky little girl will eat it out of the palm of my hand. This helps to "nip it in the bud," as Barney Fife would say on Mayberry, then follow up as directions say to open the capsule and spread the meds over the food or you can mix it in... After all it is diuretics.

Exactly the same as Vet's office! Works well!!
This is exactly the same product as purchased from my last Vet appt awhile back, except half the price. When I ran out, I decided to try Amazon. I thought i might as well give it a try to see if it was the same... it is!! Personally, I don't know why some reviewers have left negative reviews. The product I got is fresh (not hard to squeeze out of tube at all). My cat actually likes the taste of the paste so all I do is squeeze the paste into my palm & he licks it all off. He also doesn't seem to notice when I sprinkle the capsules in his wet food. And my cat is a super senior & very picky with food. Some reviewers said there are no directions on the box, but perhaps they are confused because the directions are printed right on the box AS WELL AS "give as per recommendation of your Vet". Easy enough to understand. And that should ALWAYS be done anyway because the vet would know whether or not your cat actually needs it. This is a great product that is normally only given per prescription, so this is an easier way to get the same product quickly without waiting for a prescription. I trust my Vet, & she highly recommends Proviable! I went through one course with my cat awhile back, & it worked like a charm. Because my baby has cancer, he may need to on proviable long term, which is why I decided to try Amazon for about half the price. Same exact product, just more economical. Nothing but the best for my baby.

Works wonders! And my cat actually likes the taste
My older cat has digestive issues and IBD, so she has diarrhea flare ups every so often. She cannot tolerate antibiotics and is on a special biome food to aid her digestion. This is the same stuff my vet prescribed for her during one of her flare ups last year and works wonderfully and gently. It usually only takes a few days of the oral "goo", as well as sprinkling the capsules in her wet food and over her dry food, and things are back to normal in the cat box arena. Unlike some other powder supplements, she seems to actually like the taste of the powder in the capsules, so she doesn't shy away from her food as she does with just about any other supplement I've tried with her. While she's not fond of the injectable goo being put in her mouth... most cats aren't either... it's only a few days of treatment most of the time and she is much more comfortable afterwards. I also supplement her with just the powder capsules on/in her food a few times a week, just to keep her on track. If your cat develops diarrhea, definitely see a vet for a proper diagnosis but for those with the chronic issues such as mine has, being able to order this from amazon is great!

Amazing Product that was The Game Changer for my little old dog.
I just can’t say enough great things about Proviable. My little old guy (Chinese Crested) has had gut issues for a long time. We have had him to specialists and back and forth to the vets who just couldn’t seems to get him or his poop normal. Well after reading reviews on this I decided to try it … why not right I’ve tried what seems like everything else. I ordered it and within the first couple days I started to see a very loose stool start to have what 🤞 seemed to be a shape. I was almost half way thru the treatment and decided I was going to put him on another treatment so I ordered another box and Seriously my dog not only has a good firm not hard stool but he is frisky like I haven’t seen him and really seems to have an appetite and not so picky. All in all this stuff has been a game changer. I called my vet yesterday to report out and tell them what I was using in hopes they might suggest this to other dogs struggling. Thanks again for an Amazing product ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
