If you've got big, flat fragile items to pack, this is the product.25mm thickness gives good cushioning.The sheet (2m x 1.2m) will probably arrive rolled so you need to unroll it and lay it flat with some cushions etc on it for up to 24 hours.It's made of ordinary polythene (the same stuff as milk cartons and drinking bottles) so it's less environmentally problematic than other plastics, and potentially recyclable.Cut over a cutting board with an ordinary sharp stanley type knife... an ordinary blade will just do the 25mm thickness and it's an easy, clean cut with no bits (like polystyrene -agh!).Tip - use a straight edge and biro to mark your cut. Then keeping your head low and looking under the knife as you draw the knife towards you, it's easy to follow the line and you get a perfectly straight cut. Don't look down from above, you can't see where the knife is cutting.

I used it to raise the boot floor of my car to create some additional storage space above the spare wheel. Easy to cut and shape with long stanly type knife.
