I didn't have very high hopes. I have a tremor and lack of fine motor control in my hands caused by medication and increasingly it is making handwriting almost impossible. I used to do calligraphy so this is a big loss for me. I'm now taking a course that involves intensive writing. I was thinking I might not be able to do it. I tried the weighted pens -- I'm sure they work for some but not for me. I bought every pen on the market that seemed ergonomic. No real progress. Happily, I have found that with this glove and micron pen size 08 (pretty wide), I still write more slowly than before, but I can indeed write legibly and without undue stress. This glove seemed to be what I needed. I am receiving the wrist band later and we'll see if that helps more. I don't write like I used to, but I definitely can write for long periods of time. I am a small person. 5 feet. Small wrists. I followed the directions and ordered a large. It is the correct size.

I bought these for hand tremors. The elastic finger holds work great to keep it in place. It works better than the heavy utensils you can buy. It helps with driving, with writing, with eating, working in the garage, holding electric tools, everything!!! I purchased one pack to see if it really worked. Then I went back and bought several more. We keep one in the car at all times. We keep one in the house, one in the garage, and one for special occasions when you want to dress up and go out to a nice restaurant. On a bank, the person we were there to see asked what it was. She saw how signing your name was so good. She asked if she had permission to recommend this to other customers. I was more than happy to yes and that I purchased it on Amazon!!!

Helped my husband who has hand tremors .

A PT told me that they used weighted gloves in PT, so I thought I try one of these. a weight glove is just too heavy. This is perfect , doesn't tire your hand out. Sizing is not easy.. I'm average lady and measured across my hand like directions stated to do. Going by reviews and running small I ordered a large. It's a tad big but i make it work by twisting the finger holes one time. That snugs them to where they don't fall down. A bit pricy ..no instructions on cleaning..hand wash/air dry is what I do. The elastic finger holes could be replaced if you're a sewer. I may check out weight gloves because they are cheaper.

The hand weights have help with the shaking and tremors allowing me to do my card making and writing . I would recommend these to anyone with similar problems.

So many of the reviews stated how well these work for tremors but they do not at least they didn't for my husband. He has very bad essential tremors and has trouble writing, eating, and anything involving using his hands. These are not at all heavy enough nor do they wrap around the hands tight enough to help with this issue. Please do not pay attention to the other reviews. Not sure what people are using these for but it's definitely not a help for this particular issue.

I like it. My shake is so bad nothing stops it completely but this has helped.

My neurologist recommended these for me to help me with my tardive tremor. I was in a hurry and didnt measure my hand like recommended, bought a medium (wanted the lighter weight anyway to start). It ended up being usable but the wrist strap is extremely short and though it says you can use it for either hand, one way you'll have the scratchy part of the velcro gnawing on your wrist. I also bought a large. I'm an average sized woman with average sized hands, yet even the large is slightly too small even though thats what my measurement said I need. I could not imagine being a man with large hands or even a taller woman with long fingers trying to use these things. They are sized for kids. They should make a separate product sized for adults. I am able to use them but only for short periods due to muscle fatigue. Which, I guess is the point. They aren't very comfortable at all and overall it was a but of a disappointing recommendation from my doctor.

Nog geen idee. Doe dit samen met een ergo therapeute en zij komt pas eind komende week. Het gaat erom weer zo goed mogelijk te leren schrijven vanwege een tremor in mijn hand. Wellicht dat u over een tijdje de vraag kunt herhalen. Met vriendelijke groet Hans Hermans
