I hate going shopping. I'm 42, 5"4 and 112 pounds. But somehow nothing ever fits right for me. I was going to winter black tie gala and I really didn't want to try on anything in the store and end up not finding anything so I was hoping to find something on Amazon. I had never bought anything that was fancy so I was very skeptical but reading the comments and pictures(; which really helped) gave me more hope this would be the one. I ordered it in medium and it was perfect. The only down side( very small down side) was the top part, because I don't have much boobage that it was slightly big, but nothing a safety pin to tighten that up on the side and you would never notice. The dress is very eloquent with the nice big bow on the side and to finish the look with a nice train on the back. Loved it! Yes, I had to hold my dress on the back for the train when I walked but it wasn't a problem because I made sure I took the necessary pics and found a seat to look cute the rest of the night. In the end. I was very pleased, I didn't have to spend a lot of money and it looked beautiful!

People couldn’t believe I got this from Amazon. I came here because everything I was seeing in the stores either looked like I was a teenage trying to be too grown or I was the mother of the bride (groom). It was impossible to find something nice for my age range. The fabric on this is great and draped nicely. I’m pretty tall and have most of my height in my legs. I’ve no real torso to speak of. This fit great, even without any shape wear. My dad did burn the bottom trying to press it, but that was because he didn’t pay attention to the heat setting on the iron. Luckily, it wasn’t noticeable. You will want to plan for the wrinkles because of how it’s shipped. It was also slightly shorter in the front than the back. Just enough to see my really cute shoes, but it still had the banging train. That was the important part.Whether you frequent formal events and don’t want to spend a lot on dresses that will be worn around the same people, or you hardly ever go and don’t want to spend a lot; definitely check this out. There are many ways to customize it too. I can’t wait to wear it again to another event.I’ll try to post one of my pics later. I’d say I wear around a size 14 at the time. The size I got gave me plenty of room. Not sure I would’ve been comfortable with a smaller size, but I could’ve tried if I’d wanted.

The material had been pulled so I returned it. I love the fit and length that's why I purchased it again. I'm going to try to repurchase and hopefully it doesn't have any pulls. The material is very detailed, so pay close attention upon arrival.

It has a beautiful cut and it fit me very well overall except for the chest area. I am a size D and ordered a medium and the chest area was too big where I would need to do alterations for it to fit. That was odd to me. I had yo return it for that reason but it’s a nice cut, decent material and style. It is long so at 5 feet I would need very high heels or alterations as well but I think it’s decent.

The dress was beautiful! HOWEVER, the first dress was extremely short in the front. The picture added is the second dress that I decided to keep even though it was also short as well. The first dress was near my knees. It was as if the dresses had been altered without me requesting alterations. I wanted the dress to touch the floor like advertised. So, I ordered the dress again hoping that it would be the correct length. The second dress (as you can see) was also short in the front, but longer than the first dress that I sent back. I kept the dress, but I am only giving it 3 stars because of how pretty it was even though it was shorter than the picture. I read many of the reviews before purchasing the dress. Their dresses overall were the proper length as the advertised picture. I’m not sure what happened with my dress. I would have given the dress 5 stars if it was the proper length.

This dress was absolutely perfect. It didn’t roll down like most dresses. It was stretchy but the fit is true to size. I’m a bit curvy so I bought an xl should have gotten a large because I had to take in the breast area. I’m 5”4 and the length was perfect for my son’s wedding.

I wanted so so so bad to love this dress. The shape is so flattering and the design is so elegant. However, it seemed as though it was made in a haste with the thinnest fabric available. The stitching is not aligned - there is a random crooked line from the bust to the slit. The “sleeves” are so thin and easily tangled - any way you wear them, the seams show. It arrived with stitches unraveling around the waist. And when I say see through, I mean you can read the logo of my underwear and braless would never be an option unless naked is the look you’re going for. You do get what you pay for, so that was the risk I took.

This dress is true to size. It hugs on all my curves, but some shapewear was worn to prevent showing every cellulite. Overall, dress is great! Fabric wasn’t too heavy. I am usually a 12/14 for reference.
