Aeroflow Tap for 25 Litre Water Butt - 25L Water Containers, jerricans, Drums.

Everything good, the tap was easy to fit and easy to use.

Does the Job

I paid a bit extra for a blue tap but got a red one ( red ones a bit cheaper from other sellers). Had to try about 3 times to make sure it was correctly screwed to the drum and would not leak. This lost it a star. It arrived in a reasonable time. Seems good quality and will last as long as I need it.

It works to an extent, but I found that whilst filling a 5 litre container that I had to lift the water container back up to allow air in that water would continue to flow again fully. The Aeroflow tap is effective in isolating the water flow but not so good in allowing air to enter the container as water flows out, this causes a vacuum reducing the water flow. Still I would recommend this as quick 25 litre container tap.

Actual product shipped looks solid and capable; however it is not as per product description (it fits a 59mm thread diameter, not 48mm as mentioned at the top of the product page on Amazon). As such it does not fit earlier Aquaroll water carriers.

Very prompt delivery, and a perfect fit for this: 25L De-Ionised Water I'm guessing that neither this tap nor my keg is manufactured to meet the EU/ISO standard for such caps and taps, given that this tap fits a keg whose neck has a diameter of 61mm measured between the outer edges of the raised thread on the neck*. So well done to the seller for including that measurement in the blurb. I'm well pleased with the item, and delighted at the under-a-tenner price. ----- * Looking at other similar items available through Amazon, the EU/ISO standard for this measurement seems to be 51mm. Tip - measure before you buy!

Speedy delivery, really good quality product, excellent value for money, free postage :) which is nice, however, I made a mistake with sizes & tap thread diameter does not fit my 25 litre water container as advertised :( I was offered a full refund if I returned item, but it would have cost me a minimum of £2:80 to post it back to Ireland when it only cost £3:49 :( so I had no choice to accept the loss as it was my fault, make sure you check your tap thread size before ordering, this is a really great product at a very cheap price :)

Great looking and well manufactured product what could possibly go wrong? Well i bought them for the safe and efficient decanting of waste kerosene from 25 ltr containers into another storage facility,and they all leak from the seal in the cap. Maybe the clue is in the title 25L Water Containers, do fuel grade ones differ?
