i got these for removing a carb from a stihl ms180 chainsaw. a standard sized socket was too chunky so i needed a 8mm deep socket. these arrive with a rail and fit using a 1/4 drive which is tiny, but a quick adapter bit and they are easy to use. the bits are made to a good standard. they're they usual chrome steel and have a high quality shine to them. the bits are accurate and importantly labelled as to their size. the rail included is not great and they clip on ok, but feel like they'll fall off the rail at any moment so i didn't trust it too much. the sockets work a treat though and after a week of humming and hawing the carb has been removed, serviced and working as it should again thanks to these deep sockets. good quality and value. recommended. thank you for reading my review. i hope you found it useful

Presented well in fine chrome, some useful sizes not usually found in your local store. Strength-wise I couldn't say precisely but quarter inch drive means they will not usually be used with excessive force so should last well. I lost some of my old sockets - these will see me out nicely.

Bought these to replace some cheap deep sockets and was surprised at the quality and strength of the product. Do not usually use standard sockets with impact driver, but needed to in this case and the sockets stood up to it without cracking or shattering. Would not recommend using these on a regular basis with an impact driver, but if the bolt/nut is not too corroded or tight, then perhaps in a pinch they would do. However, under normal circumstances they are perfect and a life saver when required.

Another brand that hasn’t let me down Ideal for the job

The sockets are good and serviceable. The only let down is the sprung storage bracket that is weak and does not hold the sockets secure to the frame. Spent more time picking up sockets that kept falling from the bracket as soon as you moved it. Which as you can guess is annoying when the sockets bounce off.

Needed a deep throat socket set for a job I had in mind..found these on offer at a really good price..and for the odd DIY job they would be used for I decided to buy them..from ordering to collecting from a local pickup point - the local post office counter..was straight forward from start to finish...arriving as advised.. delighted..Thank you!!
