TH001 Pack of 6 - Airtight Downlight Covers for Over Recessed Lights and Downlights - Energy Efficient, Black, 190 x 190 x 140mm

Bought these when I have to have my attic done. These hood were covered over my downlighters and insulation wrapped around it. Makes me feel safer that the insulation are not covering over the lights.

I needed these to cover my poplights in the bathroom. I was reinsulating my attic and to reduce a fire I used them to cover the poplights in the attic before I covered them with the insulation. I needed 15 I had to buy a box of 10 and a box of 6,, this is for the box of 6

These light hoods are made from solid plastic but are a bit on the small side for most ceiling lights. I had to bend the fittings on our bathroom lights to get them over, but the plus side is that I can now insulate the loft above the bathroom and hopefully cut condensation on the ceiling a bit.

Does the job well.

These are fine if the light holes were cut away from any joist, but not possible to fit if they were, check your loft first
