The Kimfeng 8" chef's knife ships in a nice reusable box with magnetic flap, and comes with a cleaning cloth. It's very sharp out of the box and has a great weight and overall feel in the hand. Construction looks really good since it is a full tang knife, and while it is a modest, no frills design, it is still a good looking knife.Assuming this keeps it's edge for 6 months or so of regular usage, I'd say it is a great value. Either way at this price point I won't be nervous about running it through my diamond sharpener as often as needed compared to my more expensive German and Japanese knives where I am worried about permanently messing up the edge.

So I purchased this for the handle and it did not disappoint! The blade came very sharp and in great condition. For me I would prefer a taller heel. And in the photos it looks taller than it is the only reason for 4 stars. I would recommend.

Not sure if this is an actual full tang knife, but it sure does handle nicely -- and cuts beautifully -- like my daughters beautiful Shun Cutlery. And if it ends up breaking because of poor construction that I can't find, the price even cheaper than I'd expect for a knock-off.

Bought this knife for my brother for his birthday. Loved that it comes in its own box which was perfect to just put a bow on.As for the knife I got the all black version and I have to say it looks cool. My brother liked it a lot and says it is cutting great!
