So far I am happy with the lens. I am using it on my a6500 and bought it mainly for video. I make YouTube content and film myself often. With an external monitor I can make sure the focus is good even if I stop down to f 2.8I've noticed a little distortion in the corners, but after f5.6 you hardly notice it.Colours:Not bad for the price of this lens. I shoot in log throughout my cameras and never had problem matching the colour grading in post.Built quality:It's my favourite part. It's made of high quality metal. It weights around 360g so with my sony it's around 800g which is still very manageable.Focus and aperture ring:The focus ring turns like a three-quarter around the lens therefore it's very easy to pull focus with one hand. If you use focus peaking you will easily nail your focus.The aperture ring is also nice, easy to turn and has the satisfying clicks to it.I'd recommend to use it for video or for landscape photography mostly. I tried to use it on a photography session out on the field and i have failed nail the focus most of the time. Practice would make a different though.Overall I would recommend this lens for most use and at this price you would not regret. It's a good addition to my gears and I'll be using it often.

Getting some great night time and landscape shots paired with a6000

Swift and safely packaged delivery. Bought for a6000, quite weighty, but bodes well for good construction I guess..! wanted to try a fixed focal length “prime” as compared with kit zoom lens (16-50) which gets varied reviews, and a wide-angle one at that. Not used yet, (only just received) but look forward to it possibly being my “stays on the camera” lens..thanks..!

Bought this for my a6000 last year , fantastic . You do need to know how to use it though . Bargain !

This is my second wide-angle lens. They allow different opportunities for your pictures. This lens is fun to use and preserves the feel of a small APSC camera. Using it on my Sony a6500, I was a little disappointed that the assistance to magnify the object when focussing manually was not available. I began to feel this was not too great a problem because peeking assistance is available. (This lens is manual focus only). The lens is good value for the money at its low price level. Sometimes the improvements provided by a more expensive lens are not worth the extra cost.

Also ich wollte eins aus Metall und weil man die seltener nutzt nicht so teuer...Viel geguckt Videos Testergebnisse usw...Das samyang soll wesentlich schärfer sein... es ist teurer und hat 2.0 anstatt wie dieses 2.8 aber ich habe hier ein schönes schweres gutes Objektiv mit guten Sitz und läuft angenehm weich...Die Fotos sind erstklassig und ich kann sie nicht mit samyang Objektiv vergleichen da ich das nicht habe aber so eine starke vignetierung am Rand fand ich NICHT...Auch die Bildschärfe bis zum Rand ist für den Preis angemessen, angeblich soll da das samyang ja noch BESSER und schärfer sein... nun ja ich bin sehr zufrieden...Was mir auch wichtig war, das es näher an Blumen oder Objekte ran kann, als das samyang ... siehe die Blumen Fotos... die gelben Blumen sind unbearbeitet...Das einzige was ich aber erst später feststellte auf unendlich gestellt ist es durchaus unscharf... Man muss ca. 2 Millimeter zurück stellen dann ist es knackscharf ... ja das ist etwas blöd, da man ja durchaus mal rankommen kann und es verstellen könnte... also da muss man Blick drauf haben und prüfen aber wenn man das weiß kann man damit Leben...Ich finde die Fotos sind ein guter Blick was man damit anstellen kann... Ich möchte betonen das es das erste Shooting damit war und und einfach nur etwas Spaß mit dem Objektiv haben wollte... Ich habe erst spät festegestellt das man bei unendlich etwas zurück gehen muss (ich meine aber auch gehört zu haben das dieses Problem auch samyang hat und es dort wohl auch naja entweder es ist scharf oder Ausschuss der zurück gehen muss, wie manche sagen) aber ich habe schöne Fotos bekommen und durch die gute Verarbeitung denke ich wird es mir auch lange Freude bereiten...So mir war eine geringe Naheinstellung WICHTIG und auch Metall Verarbeitung, auch wenn es dadurch etwas schwerer ist aber ich habe es doch lieber als nur Plastik.Der geringe Preis ... über Hälfte günstiger als das Referenz samyang, das alle so loben. War mir persönlich zu teuer, für das wenige wo man es nützt...Ich finde es hat sehr gute Möglichkeiten und ist von der Schärfe auch mehr als gut...Tolles bokeh meiner Meinung nach und natürlich wird es schärfer wenn man abblendet, das soll man ja auch beim samyang tun... ja es mag den einen oder anderen stören das es ein 2.8er ist und kein lichtstarkes 2er wie das samyang aber man nutzt es eh Outdoor und bei guten Licht oder mit Stativ und ich glaube das der Preis das wettmacht...Ich bin auf jeden Fall mehr als zufrieden damit und es macht auf jeden Fall Spaß damit Blumen oder ach es macht alles Spaß damit zu fotografieren... selbst Portrait oder mein Hund hat tolle Bilder gebracht...Ich bereue den Kauf überhaupt NICHT und würde es wieder kaufen und kann es nur empfehlen... ach ja ich habe zwar die Fotos bearbeitet aber man kann sie auch OOC nutzen also unbearbeitet... tolle Farben und sagte ich schon das es Spaß macht damit zu fotografieren und zu gucken was dabei rumkommt?Es ist ein gutes , wirklich gutes Objektiv zum tollen Preis aber denkt dran zu prüfen wo euer unendlich Punkt ist... bei mir 2 Millimeter früher...

Después de una semana de uso en mi Sony a6300, tengo que decir que estoy muy contento con este objetivo. Tenía mis pequeñas dudas por el precio tan asequible que tiene, pero a día de hoy ya no tengo ninguna. Ofrece un gran ángulo de visión, una muy buena apertura y una muy buena calidad de construcción. La única pega que le pondría (no sé si es el objetivo o la cámara) es que cuando pongo el objetivo en infinito, no està realmente enfocado al infinito. Para enfocar al infinito a la perfección, hay que utilizar el magnificador de enfoque y mover el anillo de enfoque un poco antes de la marca del infinito. Os recomiendo mirar algunas reviews online para ver como rinde, no os decepcionará.

Il pacco è arrivato prima dei tempi previsti, all’interno di una confezione ben sigillata, all’interno ci sono: l’obiettivo,i copri obiettivi anteriore e posteriore, il parasole, una custodia per il trasporto insieme alla salvietta e il libretto delle istruzioni.Uscito dalla confezione la prima impressione è di solidità data dall’ottimo assemblaggio e la costruzione in metallo, ciò nonostante il peso è abbastanza contenuto.Ci sono 2 grip che permettono la messa a fuoco e la scelta del diaframma che arriva fino a f/2.8, quindi molto luminoso.L’obiettivo deve essere gestito tutto in manuale e quindi per chi come me avesse Sony o altre marche di fotocamera deve scegliere dalle impostazioni di scattare come se non fosse montato un obiettivo, questo perchè non ci sono dei contatti elettronici.Il diametro permette l’utilizzo di filtri da 72mm.È possibile mettere a fuoco ad una distanza molto ravvicinata di circa 10cm.Per chi ha aps-c la comparazione è di circa 18mm quindi un bel grandangolare, perfetto per foto paesagistiche.Dopo aver provato questo obiettivo per qualche tempo e premesso che io lo utilizzo con una fotocamera APS-C, queste sono le mie conclusioni:- Elevata nitidezza al centro che si ammorbidisce sui bordi (ad f/8 ed f/11 da il meglio di se)-Distorsione minima (Ottimo)-Minima aberrazione (molto importante questo aspetto, ancora di più se si tiene conto che quella piccola presenza può essere facilmente sistemata con un qualsiasi programma di post)-il bokeh è buono ++ (anche se non è ideato per questa funzione)In conclusione mi sento di consigliarlo a chiunque sia alla ricerca di un obiettivo luminoso per foto paesagistiche sia diurne ,che notturne.Considerato anche il prezzo irrisorio rispetto alla concorrenza è sicuramente un must-have +++

Ich habe mir das Objektiv zugelegt, da ich aus meinen Analog-Zeiten mit der Bessa-L Kleinbildkamera mit 4.5/16mm, mit der ich sehr gerne Landschaftsaufnahmen gemacht habe, endlich was äquivalentes für meine Sony E-Mount APS-C haben wollte. Ausserdem will ich die Linse für Videoaufnahmen im 2.4:1-Look, wofür sich dieses Objektiv, gerade auch wegen des Nahbereichs bis 0,15m für mich gut eignet.Mit der größeren Blende kann man sehr schöne Nahaufnahmen machen und den Hintergrund schön freistellen. Die Blende besteht aus 8 Blendensegmenten, die leicht gerundet sind, wodurch bei großen Blenden ein schönes Boquet entsteht.Mit der unabdingbaren Kantenfokussierung der Sony kann man manuell gut scharfstellen. Leider ist die unendlich Stellung deutlich vor dem Anschlag des Fokussierringes, sodaß man auch bei Landschaftsaufnahmen die Fokussierhilfe der Kamera verwenden muss. Am Anschlag wird das Bild auch bei mittleren Blenden unscharf, daher müsste ich eigentlich eher 3 Sterne geben. Angesichts des günstigen Preis/Leistungsverhältnis gebe ich faire 4 Sternchen.Da hier gefragt wurde, wie "Sonnensterne" bei diesem Objektiv aussehen, habe ich zwei Bilder hinzugefügt: Das erste wurde mit Blende 8 gemacht, das zweite mit 5.6. Ab Blende 4 und größer sind praktisch keine "Sonnensterne" zu erkennen. Bei kleineren Blenden wird der Effekt naturgemäß bei dieser kleinen Brennweite und entsprechend winzigen Blendenöffnung deutlich stärker. Wen dieser Effekt stört, sollte ggf. zu einem entsprechenden ND-Filter greifen.

Die qualitative Anmutung ist sehr gut, die Schärfe ist es leider nicht.Auch bei Blende jenseits der 8, auf dem Blendenring kommt nach der 8 gleich die 22 so daß man nur schätzen kann, zeigt sich am PC doch ein genereller Mangel an Schärfe.Offenblendig ist dieser Mangel noch deutlicher.Die Leistung entspricht dem Preis.
