Very happy I bought it but not perfect
Both volumes one and two (both ninth editions) arrived today! I've yet to read them but I plan to update my review as I go along. I've included pictures of the content pages for both of the volumes. They are consecutive and have 1600+ pages between them. They are full-color and filled to the brim with images, which I love, especially the anatomical diagrams. I've given some random examples of the image quality - I'm very satisfied with my purchase so far! (The images I've provided are not in order and Amazon won't let me fix it) UPDATE: I'm on currently on page 770/1636. Overall, I think it's a great resource. However, I have seen several grammatical and image labeling errors which is always strange to see in a textbook. This is a nice book for ultrasound beginners because it covers a little bit of everything (which I like), but a person needs to have a strong foundational knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to understand this. They don't define every pathology, procedure, or term to you and I've had to google what things mean. All of the medical jargon can make it difficult to understand. I've included images of the content pages (not in order) but you can also find a more detailed table of contents online as well (like on VitalSource) if you're interested. I did the math and here's how these books divide their content for anyone curious. I can only give details about the parts I've read but will update later: -10% foundations of clinical sonography -29% abdomen -7% superficial structures/small parts -8% pediatrics/neonate -11% adult and fetal echocardiography -5% vascular (8% total vascular if you're counting the abdominal chapter about the aorta, IVC, and their branches; also, all vasculature of the organs are covered in their respective chapters, the "8%" statistic here is referring to the amount of the book that's made up of chapters that SOLELY focus on vascular) -8% gynecology -22% obstetrics
