This is a well built unit, I love that it doubles as a union also. It kills 2 birds with one stone, it seems very heavy duty, and the price was great.

So far so good, just installed on my new pool filter. They are holding up pretty well.

This is a sturdy, well-made, ball valve. Installation is easy if you take your time a measure carefully. So far, my installation is leak-free. The action is smooth. And at this price-point, this is a great value. My application is a cut-off valve for my pool's waste line.

I have to rebuild my automatic lawn irrigation valve system. Bought 4 of this and made the replacement much more flexible for future repairs. I can shut off individual zone easily now. It has been used for couple months and no leak and without issue.

My husband recently decided to replace some of our irrigation system. Our old shut-off valve for the watering had already had several O-ring replacements so a new valve was due.He said that it was easy to cut the old valve off. He then cemented the new valve in place. The Union Ball Valve provides a smooth and effortless twist to open and close. Being a union valve allows for simple connect and disconnect in case of any future mishaps. Very simple and a short amount of time to install. Additional/replacement O-rings also was provided. My husband used an old mint tin to store the O-rings and placed them in the hole with the value so they would not go missing.

Good quality and material

Anyone with some DIY skills can install this. I needed to replace an old PVC ball valve that was leaking and growing some nasty algae around the valve. (I live in Hawaii so stuff like algae can quickly become an issue). I was lucky and stumbled upon a YouTube video explaining why this type of valve design is better and can easily be serviced in the future if the rubber O ring gasket needs replacing. I'll never need to cut the pipe and refit it again. Just unscrew both side and remove the middle valve portion which give easy direct access to the O rings. The box came with two replacement O rings which I really appreciated. I can't speak to longevity and durability yet, but I'll update if there are any issues.

Someone left a review saying that this ball valve was not a ball valve that it was just a straight pipe with a red turn handle glued on top I almost saw the same thing but the reality is this is an excellent ball valve. It’s just hard to turn it the first time it’s a little stuck and once you get it to turn then it works like it should.
