Yep M8 x 12mm hex head set screws
Everyone should have some. Work well for holding things together when used with M8 nuts, captive in my case but will work with loose nuts as well.Yep, I'm taking the Mickley, but since I stay 30 miles from a decent hardware store and you can't beat Amazon logistics, why wouldn't I buy stuff like this on Amazon.

Good quality stainless steel bolts !
You get a pack of 20 'M8, 8mm x 25mm (1" long)' stainless steel bolts in a plastic resealable bag.The bolts are 'shiny' and well finished I am pleased to say. They are fully threaded (i.e. threaded top to bottom) and are made of A2 grade stainless steel, this is confirmed by the heads being stamped "A2-70", the 70 part of it refers to the tensile strength of 700N/mm² (MPa).Without going into the technical side of things, which the majority of people rightfully don't care about (I am a bit if a geek in that respect tough) this is a very strong bolt, stronger then a standard stainless steel bolt, although you can get stronger... but at a price !Unfortunately there are 'poor quality' stainless steel bolts but these bolts don't come into that category I am delighted to say, they are of good specification and corrosion resistant.IMPORTANT TIP :ALL stainless steel bolts should be used with a thread lubricant but in this case the lubricant should be 'Nickel' (or even Aluminium) based BUT NOT 'Copper' based, which is what I normally use on mild steel but on stainless steel this can cause "inter-crystaline corrosion" (sorry to get technical again) which can cause the bolts to break - I won't mention brands and types on here, but please do your research on this and get the right lubricant for stainless steel.CONCLUSION :I have been a massive fan of stainless steel for many, many years now, I started using them on classic cars and I now use them everywhere even in woodworking, and certainly on ANY fastening that is exposed to the elements.Initially they were very costly (silly money) and I often questioned why I used them in the beginning, but glad I did and now that prices are reasonable, there is no excuse not to use them but be careful of cheap, inferior quality ones though, go for the minimum of a mid-priced item, in this case high price usually means high quality !These are top quality bolts, which I feel really confident about using them, knowing I won't get any problems and that if I need to undo them they will come apart provided I have used a thread lubricant that is.Hope this review has been helpful to you.

Good quality bolts
M8 (8mm x 30mm) Hex Set ScrewI always try to have a selection of M6 and M8 nuts and bolts in my workshop as I find those are the sizes that I use the most. Here we have a pack of M8 bolts, the length I selected was 30mm as again that is a more useful size for me.The bolts are supplied loose packed in a zip lock bag, there are 20 bolts in total. I always try to go for a metal that will not corrode, these stainless steel bolts fit the bill nicely, they will not corrode but they may tarnish slightly over time. Although not the toughest of metals, stainless steel is ideal for use where it will be subjected to water, making them suitable for outside use, often used on boats as stainless steel has good resistance against sea water. 'A2 grade stainless steel contains approximately 8% nickel and 18% chromium, it also shows good resistance to wear & tear. The quality of these bolts appear to be good, there are no rough edges or burrs, they screw down nice and smooth. They can be used with a locking nut or with a standard nut where it's best to use a washer as well.CONTENTS:20 x m8 BoltsThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

nice pack of short stainless steel bolts
This pack of stainless-steel bolts is fairly priced, and each bolt is well finished. You get 20 in the pack and each one is made from stainless steel and finished very well with perfect threads and nice heads so if they are visible, you know they look good and will last well.I went for 10mm length ones as I needed some short ones, and they are the perfect length as you would expect but I really like the good head size which means that attaching them using my impact driver I have had no failures of the head coming off or being too small it then needs a washer.Overall, for £6.55 I think you get a good bag of bolts and I can’t fault their performance.

Well made bolts but a touch too expensive
This review is for the M8 (8mm x 40mm) Hex Set Screw (Fully Threaded Bolt) - A2 Grade Stainless Steel (pack of 10) (M8 x 40mm)£5.80 at the time of review.Ten M8 steel bolts that are well finished and with good threading on them as you would expect.I think the price is too high though as a quick search among well-known DIY retailers shows 10 stainless steel bolts for less than this – and that’s for stainless steel which are great for outdoors use. These are well made and have good threading, but they should be less expensive, so 4 stars for these M8 bolts and I suggest prospective buyers look around before buying.

Well machined threads that haven't failed me so far.
Nicely finished stainless steel A2 grade hex bolts that are produced to a high standard. The quality of the thread is strong and machined to acceptable tolerances that provide smooth and efficient tightening and loosening. They're ideal for a host of jobs and projects and have so far proved sufficient for my needs. Not much else to say other than they're a great buy and I'm happy to recommend them. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful. All the best
