Pyrex Measuring Jug 500ml | Capacity 568ml / 20 Ounce | P586

We wanted to make sure that the glass measuring jug was capable of handling repeated uses of boiling and cold liquids, obviously used at different times. But, it must be resistant to temperature changes and ranges. Also, this was important for me. The handle needed to be good and solid, easy to grip and OPEN type. AS I have very large hands having a closed handle might look good, but it is far less accommodating than the type that this jug has. It means I can hold it and grip with my whole hand. My wife has much smaller hands and this type of handle is great and adapting well to differing hand sizes. The glass is thick and seems well made. The graduated lines of measure are well printed on the outside. As mentioned, it is used daily, in varying heat ranges, from boiling to cold, to being microwaved. All is good. Overall, the price is good, the jug is excellent, it pours well without dripping. it has a solid base and is most stable when full. Very much recommended.

Excellent measuring jug before I had a plastic measuring jug but after a period of time you can no longer read the measurements. This glass jug is excellent clearly labelled with measurements. Good value for money and excellent to use when cooking.

Quality is great, very functional in measuring and pouring. You can't get a granular measure because the lines are fairly spaced apart but at that point you probably want measuring spoons. It's PYREX - not pyrex - PYREX (borosilicate) is heat-shock resistant (freezer-to-oven safe), while pyrex (soda-lime) isn't, so I feel safe when measuring boiling water, and putting it in the dishwasher. Very easy to clean, no stains, and the measuring lines remain pristine. I just can't believe I waited so long to switch, I'd 100% recommend switching to this if you're using a plastic jug, and if you're using some other brand, still consider this product, especially if it's not glass because I'm expecting this to last me for life (unless I drop it)!

Being Pyrex, you obviously know your getting quality. Decals are clear and easy to read, measuring options more than sufficient. The accuracy I checked, and was precise. Handle keeps heat away, size just right for my needs. Pouring spout is smooth.

Great jug as always. Easy to read amounts. This ones not going in the dishwasher as the writing fades away eventually if you do
