This makes great cold brew. I use BJs Wellsley’s brand Donut Shop, a medium roast ground coffee, and let it steep in the refrigerator overnight for 12 hours. I use the amount of grounds listed in the directions for a 64 ounce jar which is 8 ounces or 1 cup. It comes out perfectly smooth, not acidic, and there are no grounds in my coffee. It’s also easy to wash. The mason jar opening is wide enough to easily fit your hand through and the plastic cap and coffee grounds holder are easy to wash too. I tried a french press style cold brew maker first but ended up with too many grounds in my coffee. This one is perfect and fits easily in the refrigerator side shelf, and the handle is very sturdy. I’d give this 10 stars if I could.

Very easy to clean, if you have a 'knock box' typically used for espresso grounds trashing you can empty the whole filter instantly, run it upside down in water for any residual coffee grounds and it's clean, that quick! I put 12 spoons of ground coffee into the filter and then fill it up with cold water all the way. I find that within 24 hours in the refrigerator and the taste is perfect, not weak but not bitter either! Just perfect!

I've been trying to find a way to make something similar to the ice tea I love (Ito En green tea) at home. I found this, now I use it every day. It's easy to clean since it's made of glass, the plastic handle screws on securely and everything feels sturdy. I found myself some mid-range loose-leaf sencha, add 16-19 grams per batch, fill with filtered water, keep it in the fridge for 24 hours and it comes out perfect every time, no tea bag microplastics or plastic waste. I'm sure it does iced coffee great as well, but I've never tried it.

I am using for iced tea and usually use two tea bags of green tea and sometimes add one teabag of earl grey with it. I am big fan of green tea. Adjust for how strong or light you want the tea. I leave the string of tea bag attached (removing paper tag on tea bag but keeping tea bag intact) and place it in the cylinder which is included and goes inside the glass jar. I leave it overnight and it’s Fabulous! I have also made it during day for 5-6 hours and also is fine. Cost efficient and so fresh! Highly recommend!

I purchased to make small batches off sun tea. Perfect size for a a person. Heavy duty canister, easy to use and the mesh insert doesn’t allow loose leaf tea to get into the glass.

Great infusion pitcher. Liked it so much I just bought a second one. Wish it came a little larger but, it does fit well on the refrigerator door along with a big bottle of juice. It also fits on one of the shelves, so I can have a second one "brewing" iced tea. The mesh tube is so easy to use and holds the loose dried mint leaves inside. We use tea bags and loose ground mint leaves and/or ginger. Like one reviewer mentioned, the pop-up lid can be hard to open. The top on the 2nd purchased bottle wasn't as bad so maybe first one will "loosen up" with use. The handle is very comfortable and makes pouring easy. Bottle and tube are easy to clean. The brush is a great help with cleaning the mesh tube.
