How is this game for only two players?

My wife and I have played nearly all of our games two player. It's a great game at any count. The only difference for 2 players is that each player controls two pieces, which must both "finish" in order to win. In the 3 and 4 player games, each player only has one piece which needs to cross the finish line for the win.

Is this the English edition as pictured?

I received the English Ed. (12/2020 purchase date).

are the cards smaller then normal?

Normal playing cards? Absolutely. They’re the size of the cards in Blood Rage, or the ones that you flip for damage in Gloomhaven, if you’ve played either of those popular games. It isn’t so bad, but it does make shufflinga tad harder.

There is an expansion on boardgamegeek. Any idea when it will be available in the states?

There are 2 expansion sets on Amazon now! Note: The Quest for El Dorado: Golden Temples is either an expansion or a standalone game and El Dorado-Heros and Hexs is only an expansion.
