I collect these little willow people and have to say this is one of my favourites. I have this one myself but bought this one for a friend.

This was a gift for my daughter. She really loved it. Ii’s beautifully made and this Garden Angel, with an enormous spade, is the perfect gift for someone who enjoys spending time in their garden.

I am responding to your request for a review of the item above. The item itself was just fine, a bit pricey, I thought. However, I do want to take issue with my order. I specifically asked for the angel to be sent to my brother-in-law, for my sister who was very poorly. In the circumstances, I gave you his address to which to send the item.I ALSO SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED THAT THE INVOICE be sent to ME. That was ALL ON THE ORDER FORM. I CHECKED. As once before, When the item arrived at my sister's home, IT ALSO CONTAINED THE INVOICE. I was very upset by that, My sister died five days later. It was my final gift to her. It was awkward for me, to say the least, to track down the invoice, around the days of the funeral. So I ASK YOU: If you do offer to send a package to one address and the invoice to another, that you HONOUR THAT REQUEST. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS CAUSED ME AND MY FAMILY SOME DISTRESS. Years ago, I was introduced to the Willow Tree Angels when my mom showed me some of hers. I bought her a couple as gifts and have given a couple to friends as well but never had gotten any for myself. My sister then gave me one when I was going through a rough time and I've always had it on my dresser. It's beautiful and reminds me of how blessed I am. Recently, I came upon these again while I was searching for gifts on here. I'm becoming stronger in my faith and the prayer angel seemed perfect so I bought it as a gift to myself. The Willow Tree Angel of Prayer is an absolutely beautiful piece and is meant for "those who believe in the power of prayer." This figurine is an angel who is kneeling and bowing her head in prayer. Just like many other Willow Tree figurines, this one is wearing a simple white dress and the wings are made of sturdy wire. I like that the faces are always blank because the angels can be for anybody and their facial expressions are open to interpretation. The Angel of Prayer measures about 3 3/4 inches tall and is cast and hand-painted in China. The original sculpture is made in the USA by artist Susan Lordi. This angel comes securely-wrapped in a nice box which makes it great to give as a gift. I was so excited to receive my Angel of Prayer and was delighted to open the box when I got it! The angel is beautiful and is the same style as the other angel that I own. It's well-made, doesn't feel cheap and I find it handy that on the bottom of the angel, the name "Angel of Prayer" is printed so I don't have to remember which one it is since some of them are similar in style. I've got my two angels on my dresser and feel a sense of peace when I look at both of them. I would love to acquire a number of them someday because I absolutely love them! I also plan to give many of these as gifts since so many people I know like them. If you are looking for a beautiful gift for a friend, family member, or even yourself, these are a wonderful option! There are so many to choose from. The Angel of Prayer would make a great gift for anyone who believe in the power of prayer!
