The complete guitar toolkit
Comprehensive little set, just about everything you need at a great price

Good starter set. Don't expect premium quality at this price..
I bought this tool set as an introduction into the world of guitar maintenance. It's inexpensive, and you get a few useful items in a bundle. I have had this for over a year now and I have used all the items at one time or another. The fret hammer is nice. The sanding beam is quite good for small jobs, and it's handy the grit sizes are on the inside of the block. It comes with spare sand paper and that had been useful a few times. I have used the fret rocker, which seems adequate. There are a couple of metal bands to take the strings away from the neck, and a couple of tabs you can put over the frets to protect the neck when fret filing. I haven't made my mind up about the crowning file. I tried it briefly recently and then used something else instead. It didn't seem to do much.Overall, I'd you are new to this, like I was, and want a few basic tools for not too much money, this may be what you are looking for. This is an area where you can spend a fortune on individual tools from companies that have professional luthiers in mind, so if you aren't intending going pro, a little set like this might get you started. If you graduate into bigger jobs, you may need better quality tools later on.Overall, for what they are, I am happy with them. It's been a useful and reasonably modest investment.

Did the job just fine 🙂
Got a cheap gears 4 music headless electric guitar that was notorious for bad set up,so I watched a couple of YouTube videos & ordered this kit, it has everything you need except a straight neck guide for truss rod adjustments,so ordered that separately, they arrived together so I set to work.Straightend the neck easy to reveal unleveled frets, so I used the rocker from this kit to find the high points then marked them with a sharpie and using the file provided leveled them off nicely, picked the guitar up for £30 second hand, got this kit & the fretboard leveler and now it plays like a much higher end guitar,or how it should of out the factory 😂In a nut shell-it's a great bit of kit used properly 👌

Good value
For the money its a good kit.

Mostly junk. Avoid
The fret rocker is good. The crowning tool is OK. The fret guards are useful. Everything else is crap. The levelling beam and the mallet are way too small. And it's 17 pieces if you include the spare sandpaper and pouch.

Mixed Bag. (Bag Not Very Good.)
It comes in a bag, but it's just a tiny little drawstring affair and there is absolutely zero chance of getting everything back into it once unpacked... so don't count on the bag. You'll need to find places for everything in your toolbox.Contents:Leveling Beam: effective at spot grinding individual frets or groups of 3 or 4 consecutive frets - which is what I used it for - but far too short to be useful in actually leveling all the frets of a guitar. Extra stick-on abrasive sheets are supplied.Hammer: OK, but very cheaply made (expected at this price!) and not really heavy enough. Could do with a bit more weight to give high frets the kind of whack they sometimes need.Fret rocker: no probs. Identical to any other fret rocker you've ever seen.Crowning file: ineffective and absolute garbage. Nobody who knows what they're doing uses these things to crown frets anyway.Fret guards: fine.String spreaders: they do a job, but for anything beyond the most eeny-meeny minor fretwork repairs you'll want the strings all the way off, really... so there's not that much point to them.

Great value with useful tools
Some useful tools in this kit which make it good value for money. The sanding block useful for rubbing down bridges. Comes with spare sheets that u can use to rub down frets. The fret hammer works, the string hangers the strings out the way to fix frets. Fret rocker v. Good. The only things that let it down are the fret recrowning tool, which would only be useful for big frets and the fingerboard protectors where oversized too. Great value nonetheless

It does what it needs to do.
It does what it needed to do. I have a partscaster that had incredibly sharp frets (my fault because I installed them myself) and this tool set saved the day. I only really needed the fret file but the rest will come in handy.

Just what I needed!
I am doing a vintage mandolin restoration for a friend and thought I'd clean up the fretboard and frets. This kit arrived and I am very pleased although I'm still not sure what the two curved brackets are for?? The included abrasive strips will be very useful for other fixes as the grits are very fine! In all I consider this a really good buy at this price!!

Great Product
Great Product definitely worth the money... Just add a couple more tools and you've got a complete set. Add a Fret leveling tool and neck gauge and you can probably get just about anything done

Good kit. Great price.
This kit has everything to level and dress frets. The bar is straight and the file works too but only on narrow frets. Of course it's not the best luthier tools you can buy but for the price it's well worth it. That's why I gave it 5☆.
