Hard install
Yes it's proper for the 2003 gti rfi. It not an easy switch. The panel in the front storage has to come off. The glove box has to come off, and the steering has to be unbolted to remove the glove box. Everything needed is there except a couple of metal retaining rings which have to be reused. My machine started right up after replacement. It a good part, but not for the faint of heart for Installation.

Good quality and exceeded expectations for fitment.
Worked well on my Seadoo GTI se 2006. I was concerned this was a generic fit but it looked like it was made for it. The hardware all worked out well with the suction portion with filters. The pump seems to be very good quality. I used an ohm meter to check the pump motor before install. The new pump motor measured 1.5 ohms. The old "failed" fuel pump measured 5 ohms. A 10 amp fuse was also blown and had to be replaced as a result of the failed fuel pump.
