Brilliant.
Used on my F30 BMW works brilliantly, no connection issues may all. Simple plug and play.

Crosscompatible OBDIi adapter
I managed to change my car settings with ease. It's really small and does its job properly. Works perfectly with both iPhone and Android phones. I tried several apps too with no problems.

Appears to do what it says on the tin.
Worked ok for me - managed to connect ok, managed to get static and dynamic data. Using the basic freebie OBD Auto Doctor running on a 2010 MacBook Pro. No idea how it compares with professional stuff. Good solution if you already have a computer with wireless connectivity.

Great piece of kit
Great piece of kit and has worked flawlessly to show errors and facilitate coding. Easy to use and, so far, perfect.

Does not do what it says on the tin
Simple plug in and go. I plug it in, try to connect to the VLink and it it says no connection, even using 3rd party apps, nothing works. It does not find a connection. It is just a constant red light, sometimes blue (maybe trying to initialise something) but never works.

Wouldn't connect
Would not connect via the WiFi connection on two phones. The system looks like it should be good so I've returned this one to purchase the Bluetooth enabled one.

Arrived quickly Plugged it in and it connected right away Works fantastic with my Nissan LeafSpy diagnostics live data to my iPhone

Fantastic piece of kit
Fantastic piece of kit! the packaging recommends some free apps which are great but also works with many other specialist apps (such as bimmercode)

Die Verbindung über Wi-Fi zum iPhone und iPad funktioniert reibungslos. Ich kann Fehlercodes einfach auslesen und löschen. Mit den passenden Apps erhält man viele Fahrzeugdaten. Das Gerät ist klein, aber sehr leistungsstark. Der Verkäufer ist zudem äußerst hilfsbereit und antwortet schnell auf Fragen. Der technische Support ist wirklich zuverlässig.

Rápida conexión y se desconecta al quitar el contacto. La versión bluetooth se conecta tanto al manos libres del coche como al ODB2 sin problema. La versión WiFi te obliga a forzar los datos móviles en Android cada vez que se conecta. En Apple IOS entiendo que no, pero no lo he probado. A cambio el alcance es mayor que el del bluetooth.

It works, I can connect to my BMW E60 with most OBD2 apps. It just won’t connect to my E60 with Bimmercode or Bimmerlink, because the connection protocol is different from what is needed. I can read and clear codes, monitor everything, etc. I just can’t code with it. And that’s what I intended to do with Vgate iCar Pro. Bummer, but I should have done better research…

Il Vgate iCar Pro Wi-Fi OBD2 Scanner è un prodotto eccezionale! L’ho acquistato specificamente per codificare la mia BMW Serie 1 utilizzando l’app BimmerCode, e ha superato tutte le mie aspettative. Il dispositivo si collega facilmente tramite Wi-Fi al mio iPhone, e la configurazione è stata rapida e senza problemi. La connessione è stabile e l’interfaccia è intuitiva, rendendo l’intero processo di codifica un gioco da ragazzi anche per chi, come me, non è un esperto di tecnologia. Con questo scanner, sono riuscito a personalizzare varie funzioni della mia BMW, come l’illuminazione e il comportamento delle chiusure centralizzate, in pochi minuti. Il dispositivo è compatto, robusto e molto facile da usare. Se hai una BMW e vuoi sfruttare al massimo BimmerCode, questo è lo strumento che fa per te. Consigliatissimo!
