A note to anyone ordering these: when removing the cellophane from the sticky paper, use one continuous pull. If you stop midway, it will stick even harder and feel impossible to remove. Another tip is to remove the cellophane when the ambient temp is cooler. The warmer the temperature, the more it sticks to itself. These have worked wonders catching all the excessive flying insects around my plants. Beware, they will catch animal fur and feathers. So, do not place them in such a way that will harm your pets or other wildlife. A small bird somehow got caught on one of mine. Had I not seen it, it could have died. Other than that, these are great and you get a lot for your money

My particular garden bug problems this year seem to be flea beetles and cucumber beetles. This product works well on both of them. Be aware that sticky traps capture beneficial insects as well as the occasional bird. I purchased this brand because the brand I’ve bought for years was out of stock.The price seems attractive but beware that these are smaller than many and about an inch total of the width doesn’t even have stickum on it!They do seem flimsy but am sure that is due to the very lightweight peel-off plastic covering the stickum compared to other brands. After removing the covering they are same thickness as other brands.The thin plastic peel-off covering is pretty annoying because it tends to flop back onto the sticky coating and is very difficult to remove.In summary nothing really wrong with these and the price seems good until you calculate cost per sq inch of stickum which moves pricing from good to okay. I use a lot of sticky traps in place of pesticides and if my preferred brand continues to be out of stock I’d buy these again.

I had some yellow stickies up that worked well, but I ordered these due to many sites claiming blue worked better for thrips. Side by side the yellow stickies picked up far more thrips than the blue. Anyway, my plant made it to harvest and the thrips lost their home.The stickiness of the blue is extreme. No bug can touch it without getting stuck. A couple of jumping spiders got stuck and it took forever to free them. They didn't go for the yellow with all the thrips stuck to them, probably read the same sites as me!

The product is great. It arrived on time. The shipping box had ripped out the bottom and the product could have fallen out. It was all intact and not damaged.
