31515 Denim Black Deluxe Locking Center Console for Jeep CJ-5 1976-1983, CJ-7 1976-1986, Wrangler YJ 1987-1995

I bought this about a year and a half ago for my 99 single cab Ford Ranger. I converted the driver seat to a single seat pan deleting the arm console and Tiny Center seat that nobody could fit in. This fit perfectly For a center arm console. I did however Make a Three inch by four inch in the bottom At the back To clear The hump behind the seat Only because I had a Aftermarket manual four-wheel drive shifter in the floorboard that is not in a stock vehicle. The product is sturdy enough and was easy enough to modify That it looked completely factory even after My modifications. This truck is not babied And the arm console has held up to all of it. Other than being a little dirty it has held up very well. With that being said comma The Material it is made out of is super easy to clean. The front cup holders are pressure fit into the arm console and hold good but also provide extra storage if you pull them out for a hidden compartment.

Before buying this, I studied the reviews kind of intensely because I was scared of getting burned. Here’s what I found out: -The locked center console is actually not that easy to get into, most car thieves are trying to leave quickly with whatever they can and it would take a credit card and some patience in order to open the center up. -The fit is definitely decent. You don’t need to mount or secure really heavily in a Crown Vic. The friction between the seats is enough, regardless of how much you want to store. -YES. The coin holder is upside down, but my theory is that we’re getting a product usually sold for more money because this is a factory defect. The coin holder is a blessing. Also it is very stuck in there. Seems hard to fix but who carries coins anyways? - Why are we talking about the color? It literally says denim. The black isn’t even blue, it blends into the Crown Victoria seats pretty well. - The cup holders are removable and do make a cool hiding spot FYI! - The quality is alright, you can tell it’s a custom build but how good would it turn out if you tried to make your own…

I bought this unit for my 2006 Ford Crown Victoria and it fit like a glove between the seats like it was made especially for the car. It adds more storage space and well needed cup holders to the car. At $110 it was more than worth the money.!

Fits well in 2010 Dakota. Great cushion arm rest. Removable compartments. Color blends well with seats.

It's been a couple of months since I installed it and no more personal articles in the floorboard. The only thing I'd change in the design is if your backseat passenger has a cold snack in their cupholder they need to pick it up if you open the list because they are integrated in the lid and you'll party foul. Quality is not a factory fit, finish, or material but it'll do just fine beating around town on on the trail. It's worth the money and saved me from having to build my own. I agree with other reviews that it's not a true black as it has a slight hint of dark blue in it while in the sun. If it fades I'll just hit it with some vinyl paint but overall I'm very happy with it.

It suits the purpose of what I needed, just hate the fact when you lift the arm rest the cup holders to with the lid

I stuck this in an El camino with bucket seats, fit like a glove, it also dyed really nicely to red

Overall, this product works. However, I think the build quality leaves a little bit to be desired. It’s basically cheap bowl of wood with just material coverings. In my instance of modified it so I wasn’t too worried. Definitely not secure. Could be ripped open very easy, however, if you’re not worried about security, it does make a great sense of console with plenty of storage and cupholders.

It's really nice but I have to modify what's in there to put it in I'm waiting till the spring where it's warmer but it is really nice and it will look really good but I am not fussy over the strap on the top I think there should be one on each side or something a little stronger so if you accidentally lean on it you don't rip it out I gave it a four-star only because of the strap holding the lid up
