Does this repel other biting insects?.Midges etc.

It is supposed to, but I didn't find it very effective against the Scottish midge. (To be honest, I don't think a 20 megatonne thermonuclear device would be effective against the dreaded Scottish midge.) 2mm of sheer terror!
