Is the blade attractive to magnets?

This is a steel blade. Magnets will find it sexy!

I know now thst this does not come with a cover, but can anyone recommend a cover for this?

I can’t recommend a cover for this item, however, do not be too adventurous with what you are chopping! I tried to cut a venison bone that was probably 15mm and a pea shaped piece broke off the blade. However, being an engineer I managed to grind back 15mm and re sharpen .👍😊🤔

How to sharpen this knife by using a whetstone please?

Set at approx 25-30 deg and keep the angle constant, sharp as a razor.
