Korean skincare is amazing. My aesthetician recommended this and it keeps my skin smooth, clean and bright. It removes the dead skin that can make your face dull and can be used daily if needed as it’s gentle.

Best exfoliation product I’ve ever used. Dead skin just sloughs right off.

I have been using the Korean Skincare Non-Abrasive Enzyme Peeling Gel for some time now, and unfortunately, I am not satisfied with its performance. I had high hopes for a gentle exfoliating experience, but the gel did not effectively remove dead skin cells or impurities as expected. I will be searching for an alternative exfoliating product that better meets my skincare needs.

I rather love gommage exfoliation style products. It requires a clean but dry face. So if I wash my face first, I then walk away and come back 15 minutes later to use this. It just isn't the same if the skin is slightly damp from fresh washing. So when I am ready to use this, I quickly slap some on all over my face. Let it sit for several seconds to a minute, then proceed to gently massage this all over. As I do so, the product begins to ball up. That is the hallmark to a gommage (or in this case simply called, "Non-Abrasive Enzyme Peeling Gel"). Gommage/enzyme peeling gel works like an eraser removing pencil graphite from paper. In this case the paper is our skin, the pencil graphite is the gunk/grime/dead skin cells, and the eraser is the gommage/enzyme peel. The bits that are balling up are not entirely skin, but more of a mix. Again, think of erasing. When you erase, not all the bits are the pencil marks. It is a combo of the actual eraser (the gommage/peel) and the pencil marks (gunk/grime/dead skin cells). Very gentle, very effective. I have used some that work similarly and for a lot less but I have a preference for Korean skin care and would consider this again. Overall not much is needed to work, so this small 75ml (2.5 ounce) bottle will last awhile. I do my most involved skin care routine at night, and using a gommage is helpful in removing excess yuck and allowing subsequent skin care products to absorb better and work better. Even though it states that it is for "Normal to Oily Skin, blemish skin, sensitive skin". I can easily use this 1-2 times a week on my dry skin.

I just turned fifty, and I’m all about keeping my skin looking thirtysomething. This Daily Botanicals Enzyme Peeling Gel is a godsend. I have really sensitive skin, and my face will flame up like a tomato at the slightest irritation. Finding a good enzyme peel is quite a quest. This Daily Botanicals Enzyme Peeling Gel is amazing! It’s a lightweight gel with no irritating scents or ingredients, just hard-working fruit enzymes that do their job well. I use one pump of the gel and rub it all over my face each night, and it goes from slick to crumbly dead skin peels in seconds. GROSS, I know. But this gel works to break down the dead skin on my face without me having to scrub it off with an exfoliator that could cause my face to become inflamed. My skin care routine includes a glycolic acid serum that breaks down the top layer of my skin, and, paired with this enzyme peel that removes that broken down layer easily in seconds, I’m getting radiant effects keeping my skin fresh, renewed, and above all calm.

it’s a little pricey but i think it’s better than other enzyme peels that cost around this much especially if you have slightly sensitive skin. i can’t use most heavy acid or peel products because they always irritate my skin, but i’ve been finding korean versions much gentler and more effective for me. i only use this once a week because of my sensitivity, but those with normal skin could probably use this 2x a week easy. i use this product earlier in the week and a face scrub a couple days later to clear any accumulated debris and sebum, and it’s been helping my skin look for radiant. i recommend trying this product if you find most other similar products too irritating or harsh. i’m pretty happy with it and i definitely see myself getting this again. i’m not a fan of overpriced skincare products if they don’t actually perform better than cheaper products, but this out is probably the best i’ve used that isn’t a powder enzyme scrub.

It doesn't smooth my skin. My skin feels the same before and after using this. I don't know whether it exfoliate my skin or not.
