How can I put the belt on the hook?

It is definitely suggested to get a new belt for the parachute. The other belt comes undone way too easily.

How long is the belt strap

Long enough for MOST people; however, it suggested to get another belt for it.

Will this work for kids as well?

We use it for our youth program. **It is one of the only parachutes with straps that actually tighten all the way on the little kids. ** Many other products have two sections for the straps, such that all the way tight is only a size 28 pants or something, and most kids are much smaller than that.
