I don't often write revies for purchase on Amazon but I'll make an exception in this case as I am very impressed with this Monopod from Manbily. It is lightweight yet sturdy, has a feel of great engineering about it and it simply does the job it was intended for. The carbon fibre sections release easily using the twist controls and also lock tightly, the supplied walking handle is also well made and can be mounted in a horizontal or vertical position. The handle unscrews to reveal a standard pertuding camera mounting thread. It feels sturdy when using it as a walking aid and transforms quickly into a versatile monopod. I purchased the Manbily Monopod aditional rubber feet as I'll definitely be using this in daily life and given the quality of the Monopod I'll be making a purchase of the Manbily tripod feet, thus making it a very light and free standing camera platform. This Manbily Monopod is a great addition, it looks good and it works well.

As a disabled camera user, I found myself wondering what to do with my walking stick when I took photographs. I tried to hook it over my arm, but it destabilised me, made concentrating on the picture hard, or I would drop it, damaging my stick and putting me in danger of falling when I bent to pick it up. My wife uses a walking pole, and bought a new carbon fibre one when she found herself out without one. I was impressed with the lightness and balance, wondered if there was one with a camera mount. This one seemed too good to be true, but it's everything I wanted, very adaptable, collapses small enough to go in a bag, or extends for comfortable standing use and anything in between. It's usable as a walking support with my dslr attached. I'm very pleased, it's well made and solid.

It's actually really goodBut you want the tripod feet and ball head another 45 quid to get the most out of itAs just a monopod it makes a non stabilized camera actually usable in low light with the extra bits it can be used as a very capable tripod when weight is less an issueIt's super light but strong enough to take a decent camera with lens too and a capable walking pole

A disclaimer: I bought this primarily for use as a walking stick, although I will use it as a monopod from time to time.This is very sturdy, very light (thanks to the carbon fibre construction) and can extend to almost eye level.The reversible 1/4 or 3/8 screw gives the option for direct use with a camera or fitting an alternative head. The included mobile phone holder is an unexpected bonus (and quite well made), but the cherry on the top for me is the walking stick handle adaptor. It can be fitted in one of two positions, depending on the style of grip desired. There is also a handy carrying case included.The only drawback I have found is that when using this as a walking stick, the rubber foot covering the spike on the base of the monopod is NOT designed or manufactured for prolonged use. It wore through to the metal in just a couple of days. After some searching, I found a walking stick ferrule which fits OVER the existing rubber cover and is very hard wearing.Very happy with my purchase, so far.

Changed my review could not use it at first as thread was two large But if you unscrew it the other end has a smaller camera thread So definitely keeping it well made and good value.

If you're anything like me, you have probably bought many different tripods/monopods or other camera mounts in an effort to cover off your uses. I had been looking for a lightweight monopod that would work for camcorder or camera, that could collapse into a small space. Extensions should lock well with a ring rather than lever that sticks out. I'd bought and tried a few options and finally this one came up in a search, what a find... ultra lightweight and fits in a rucksack next to my laptop, the locking rings are a pleasure and the whole setup is really sturdy. It was dead easy to use and really helped get some great shots. Love it!

I really must say what an an absolute surprise and pleasure to unpack this item. I find the quality of the monopod walking stick superb and the design and functionality also unbeatable. I really have to say that anybody wishing to buy something that is going to double up as a monopod and walking stick, or hiking pole if you wish, really could not do better than to buy this item and such good value for money..

After a short time the bottom leg clamp on the thinnest s3ction would not tighten enough so it would collapse, so useless as a walking pole or monopod. (The aluminium one was ok).E mailed Manbily but they never rsponded

What a brilliant idea, you have a stable tripod, a walking stick and a cane if needed all in one peice of gear.It's very light with the carbon Fibre, but solidly built. It comes with a phone mount, but its really just a waste. The sections move smoothly and the locking rings are easy to usingI had to modify it a bit to fit my needs. I figured if you were out walking with the walking stick aspect and wanted to stop and take some pictures, instead of unscrewing the handle then screwing your camera on, then taking your pictures, then having to redo everything back I bought a quick release setup with another top section.I mounted the base plate on the top and one top mount to my camera. The one for the handle was a but tricky because the bolt holes in the handle are 3/8" and the quick release is 1/4" so I bought some m/f 3/8" to 1/4" adapters.I then screwed them in using just a bit of blue lock tight just so they don't work their way out. If I ever need to use the cane version I just need to unscrew the quick release and screw into the other hole.For me it's a win win situation

Der Stick ist super-stabil, wackelt nicht, schwingt nicht, perfekt. Durch die Schraubarretierung verdreht sich nichts und schiebt sich auch nichts zusammen. Durch das Kohlefasermaterial ist er leicht, der Basisgriff ist zwar ein paar Gramm schwerer, aber dadurch liegt er nur besser in der Hand (sehr gute Gummierung), die Auszüge jedoch sind sehr leicht, wodurch der Hebel nicht unangenehm wird. Ich habe jetzt einige Selfie-Sticks probiert und auch teilweise zurückgeschickt, dieser ist perfekt!Einzige Einschränkung: die minimale Länge von 36 cm darf einen nicht stören, für die Jackentasche ist er zu groß.Die Gimmicks wie den Handgriff und die Stockspitze kann man abschrauben, an beiden Enden befinden sich Gewinde.Absolute Empfehlung!

Det är en mycket stabilt monopol i kolfiber. Jag använder det inte till foto eller film, utan en stång till RTK GPS. Att den är stabil och går att skjuta ihop är helt perfekt.
