Why does it specify ‘right handed’ - aren’t they normally right-handed?

Hi normally a right handed person strums with their right hand and fingers the strings with their left.if you are left handed then everything is opposite.you have to change the strings about and also change the nut as the nut is groved to suit the diameter of the strings

Can you attach a strap onto this Guitar?

It is possible by purchasing a neck strap that has a hook which you clip onto the 'hole' behind the strings But if you mean the strap that you see guitar players use then only by buying an attachment that you screw into the bottom of the uke.
