Great pot!
I fixed a low country boil in this pot and it was so good. Easy clean up and the drainer lid make it so simple. Love this pot. I'm going to order the jr pot next. Oh and the spices were great.

Big crowd cooker
Can Cookers and the company are terrific. I have several different sizes. The big one is the best shrimp boil cooker ever devised and so is the Can Cooker recipe. You feed a block party with this thing. All the recipes on Can Cookers website are easy and good. I had to return one of these. Didn't even open it. The recipient passed away during shipping. As usual, Amazon made the return easy and Can Cooker issued a credit without hassle. I have Van Cookers big and small, the strainer lid...a great item for pouring out just the liquid from shrimp boil, the campfire swing grill, silicone handles.... it's all great stuff. Don't forget the seasonings! Nothing else like it!

CanCooker - easy and quick food for a crowd
We purchased this for a gift because we like our CanCooker we've owned and and used for years. The CanCooker can quickly cook food for a large group over a small heat source, we use a portable butane stove. One of our favorite things to cook in it is fresh corn on the cob, which it cooks quickly and tender.

Everyone needs this!!!
I'm a "naked and afraid" TV show fan... While watching I noticed they had cookers like this and it would cook their food really fast and I had a family reunion coming... I made gumbo from scratch and it was done in 45 minutes... Please read the instructions about how to clean it and about how to keep the flame correctly, heating it... I bought this one and the smaller one for when everybody left and now I can just cook for the two of us.. this is an amazing part and I'm so glad I bought it ❤️❤️🥰

Went on a fishing trip to Northern Quebec in July and one of my Buddies had a can cooker. It is a MUST have for a group/gathering when you are cooking. Easy to use and clean and the results are awesome!!

Fantastic easy to use. A must for home camping and outdoor cooking.

Narrow top
The can cooker is well made, but the top opening where you would be loading the food and then getting out the food is quite narrow. I wanted to do a ham with carrots and potatoes for about 20 people. No way would a ham fit in that opening. That really limits what you can cook! Also it was not as heavy of metal as I thought it would be.
