Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner, 300ml (Pack of 1), White

I normally use one of the more expensive oven cleaners, where you apply the gel-like liquid, pop the racks in a bag with the gel and leave overnight, but find you get varying results. The racks in the bag usually come out sparkling, but the oven itself was only marginally better than when I started on the last occasion, so thought I’d give this a try. The foam stays thick for the 20 minutes recommended for de-greasing (no longer though), and doesn’t turn watery or run down the walls/door of the oven. Whilst it didn’t get everything off the oven, it removed much more gunk than the gel cleaner did. I also cleaned the top oven/grill, and the air fryer, with almost perfect results, and still have loads left in the tin. I guess the effectiveness is dependent on how long the grease has been baked on the oven, but this is cheap enough and easy enough to use to clean your oven more regularly, before the grease gets properly baked onto the inside. The only thing that I’d say is be very careful when spraying the foam inside your oven, as the fine mist really catches the back of your throat if you breathe in whilst spraying! There are warnings on the can about usage and ventilation, but unless you can hold your breath longer than a blue whale, it’s difficult not to breathe when applying. I suppose you could do it short bursts, and give the fine mist time to dissipate in between applications, which is probably safer. The foam is easy enough to wipe up afterwards, although I did use a load of kitchen roll and I also used a little water bottle mist spray to rinse the foam from the harder to wipe parts, which worked fine. Overall, for the cost, amount you get in the tin, ease of use and effectiveness, it’s more than good enough to clean your oven regularly with.

I buy this to keep my stainless steel BBQ in good condition. It's much better, quicker and cheaper than products sold purely as bbq cleaners. Does well on ovens also!

I used this mainly on the oven door, glass and racks where grease had built up. The foam came out evenly and covered the surfaces well, then softened the grease enough for most of it to wipe away without too much trouble. The more stubborn burnt-on areas still needed a fair amount of scrubbing, so it isn’t completely effortless, but it made the job much easier than trying to clean everything without it. The biggest drawback is the extremely strong smell and fumes, so good ventilation is definitely needed while using it. It cleans effectively and I would use it again, but the fumes stop me giving it five stars.

Literally melts grease and can be easily wiped away. Needs to be left on for a few minutes. Does have a strong smell and may need to wear a mask while spraying.

Don't normally write reviews, but this product is fantastic. I've tried all sorts to clean oven but this is the best. Left product for an hour to clean. Used a full can for oven and 3 wire racks but such good value. Have already reordered 3 cans !!

I was given a second-hand air fryer, that needed a lot of cleaning, I have used Mr Muscle before, so I know how good it is, but even Mr Muscle has it limits. It did the job of cleaning the dirty, grease and old fat away, which took three sprays and most of the day to clean it off, but this air fryer has seen better days, so it went in the bin. I am very happy with Mr Muscle, but it was very clear to me that even such a good product has its limits, after all the grease and fat washed away, I could see rust and white bleach on the air fryer that says its past its prime, and not safe to use anymore. But I still gave Mr Muscle 5 stars because it did shift all the dirty, but it could not rewind time on the usability of the air fryer, which is not the fault of this product, but who ever had it last, and not looking after it. I recommend Mr Muscle it really does shift the dirt in ways other products just can’t, And I will buy it again, thank you.

Yes it made my oven clean... But the chemical smell is ridiculous to remove. I tried scented steam, venting for 3 days and if you don't wash it off properly as soon as you turn the oven on it will show massive white marks
