We had builders in over a year ago and they swapped over a door for us. In the process they had to shave the bottom of the door so it would fit which meant the vinyl 'leather' finish of the door started to ride up exposing the plain wood by an inch or two at the bottom. Needless to say they left it like that never to return and it's been annoying us ever since. Saw this tape and thought it was worth a gamble as it looked roughly the same colour and finish. It arrived the next day and we set about using it immediately on the door in question. We couldn't be happier with the result. The colour and finish is an exact match to the point where you hardly notice it as it's virtually an invisible mend. It was easy to apply and cut and was also the perfect size for the job in hand. Can't comment on the durability of it due to us only just applying it but it it's very sticky so hopefully it'll do the job and if it does end up coming away there's plenty more of it left on the roll. A little expensive for such a small roll but worth it for the finished result (see bottom of the door in the attached image).

Good product at a good price. Did the job nicely on the arms of both chairs.

This does the job, and is VERY sticky, but doesn't last as long as hoped.The pieces keep curling up at the end, leaving a thick sticky residue underneath where they were applied. A temporary short term solution, but be prepared to re-tape every few weeks. This won't prevent you needing to buy a new chair, but will buy you some time! The tape surface itself is durable, with a matt finish. You get a lot more tape than you could ever need on the roll, although as mentioned above - you'll need multiple applications!

Very good did the job

I brought it to cover up two patch on the sofa and to be far i just wanted to cover the two holes. And I brought this thinking ah I'll try it see if it works and low and behind it matches my sofa colour perfectly and ypu cant even tell thats Ive used it. Great product holds well. Would definitely by again. Wasn't expecting it to work so well and look so good but it does 👌🏾 10/10

Comes of shortly after a few sittings. Not worth the price, pricey as well.

Bought some time ago because my dog had made a small hole in my leather sofa. Months later it is holding well and I’m really pleased with it. The colour isn’t quite right but that’s as close as I could get and a strategically placed cushion hides it well.

Had a tear on my chesterfield put a piece of leather repair tape on stuck really well cant tell its been repaired. Time well tell how long it last very pleased with the finish.

... But then not so much.The adhesive is not super good. One some surfaces, yes. Vinyl I would guess. On steel, perhaps if you clean it thoroughly. But the colour and pattern matched my car seat lining perfectly!

This stuff is great for a quick patch on vinyl or leather. It's very sticky (more so than duck tape) so be careful and use sharp scissors when you cut it as it can stick to them making it difficult to cut. The two person method is best to avoid rough or white edges. Be sure to clean the area first with a non oil based cleaner, liquid dish soap and water is best. Once the area dries, cut the pieces to fit and carefully apply and smooth. It's best to cut lengthwise and use large pieces to be sure to cover enough surface area for a good stick. Works best in a controlled temperature, we have a new HVAC and keep our house cool in the summer which reduces humidity. If you don't use central AC, have older inefficient AC, or you don't let your AC run enough I can see the humidity causing the glue to lose efficiency so in those cases you would be better off getting a patch instead. Overall it works great for a cheap and easy repair to keep the area from getting worse. We're very pleased with our purchase. I only wish I would have gotten the dark brown instead, but we like low lighting so from a distance it's not noticeable to guests.
